Used 2003 Nissan Altima 3.5 V-6 Low Reserve Needs Minor Work on 2040-cars
Beachwood, New Jersey, United States
ONE OWNER USED 2003 NISSAN ALTIMA 3.5 SE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CAR AND WANT SOMETHING PRETTY DECENT BUT ALSO PRETTY CHEAP THEN KEEP READING. THIS IS 3RD CAR FOR US AND I JUST NEED TO SELL IT FAST. IT IS PRETTY CLEAN ON THE INTERIOR BUT THE EXTERIOR DOES HAVE SOME SCRATCHES, SCRAPES AND DINGS. THEY ARE VERY MINOR AND DO NOT IMPACT THE USABILITY OF THE CAR. I TOOK PICTURES AND INCLUDED THEM IN THE LISTING GALLERY. WE PUT NEW FRONT TIRES ON THE CAR THIS YEAR AS WELL AS REPLACED THE BATTERY. WE PUT BRAKES ON THE FRONT AND REAR THIS PAST YEAR AS WELL. THE CAR WILL NEED A NEW MUFFLER AND IT DOES HAVE A TICK UNDER THE HOOD MOST LIKELY FOR THE TIMING CHAIN. WE DID HAVE IT LOOKED AT BY A MECHANIC BUT THEY SAID THAT THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT AND IT RUNS OK. THE DRIVER SIDE MIRROR IS SLIGHTLY POPPED OFF THE SIDE OF THE DOOR. THIS CAR HAS SERVED US WELL SINCE WE BOUGHT IT NEW BUT WE NO LONGER HAVE THE ROOM FOR IT IN THE DRIVEWAY. I SET THE RESERVE AT WHOLESALE SO PLEASE DON'T BE AFRAID TO BID ON IT. |

Nissan NV200 Mobility Taxi adds a dose of accessibility to the new-look cab
Thu, 28 Mar 2013Nissan has been making hay with its NV200 light commercial vehicle in New York. We've known since last year that the van will see service as a taxi in the Big Apple, and more recently, we learned that a variant will be kicking around to rescue ailing Gibson guitars. At its press conference this year, Nissan continued the onslaught with a wheelchair-accessible version of its NV200 Taxi.
The automaker has teamed with BraunAbility - a company that styles itself as the world's largest maker of wheelchair-accessible vans - to create this NV200 Mobility Taxi. The cab features a fold-flat ramp for rearward wheelchair accessibility, as well as a restraint system to keep said chair snugly in place at speed.
In addition to showing off the Mobility Taxi, Nissan announced at its press conference that it will be making both hybrid and fully electric versions of the NV200 Taxi available, as well. Scroll down for the Nissan press release, or take some time with our extensive live and stock image galleries of the NV200 Mobility Taxi.
Semi-autonomous Nissan Leaf certified for road use in Japan [w/video]
Sat, 28 Sep 2013In order to meet its goal of having an autonomous car in production by 2020, Nissan is going to have be able to test its technology in real-world driving conditions. For this, the automaker has just received a license plate to legally test its semi-autonomous driver assist systems in Japan, marking the first time such technologies have been tested on that country's roads. Not ironically, the license plate number is 2020.
Though not fully autonomous, this Leaf prototype will test various components of a self-driving car including exiting the highway, the ability to stay in its lane and change lanes when needed, stopping at red lights and overtaking stopped or slow traffic. Nissan is also in the process of building a proving ground in Oppama, Japan dedicated solely to autonomous cars, but the ability to test on public roads will obviously play a crucial role in the development of these cars. Scroll down for a short video and press release Nissan posted to mark the occasion.
2014 Nissan Serena offers big flexibility in a tidy package
Fri, 22 Nov 2013In America, Nissan attempts to slake our kinschlepping needs with its slow-selling Quest minivan, but in Japan, where consumers seem a lot less reluctant to buy MPVs, there are a lot more models for every size family and budget. Nissan itself offers no fewer than six such minivans, including the popular Serena seen here.
Technically a mid-cycle facelift, this new Serena continues to offer seating for up to eight people with a gas-only or mild hybrid driveline delivering power to either the front or all four wheels. This Tokyo Motor Show reveal takes that familiar package and lends it a freshened look, complete with a revamped front fascia with less chrome frosting, optional LED headlamps, new LED taillamps and new alloy wheel patterns. In addition, the Serena receives new active safety technology, including lane departure warning systems, Around View Monitor with Moving Option Detection, Driver Attention Alert, and so on.
With only a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, you might expect the Serena to be smaller than today's American minivans, and you'd be right - it's roughly the size of a short-wheelbase Gen III Dodge Caravan, making its seating capacity particularly impressive. Said another way, the Serena is likely to stay forbidden fruit, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it in our gallery.
