Sky Blue, Excellent Condition, Sedan Spacious Back, Gas Saver, Fast And Easy Dri on 2040-cars
Berkeley, California, United States
This is a very nice car, well maintained, Besides minor dots on bumper, car handles great, accelerates with Hybrid Power, drives like brand new, and nothing wrong with it. Its a gas saver, work horse and practical for everyday use. I'm the third owner I believe, and I bought the car from a father, who bought it for his son's graduation. I drove it almost a year, and is just a fun drive, hugs the road well and very comfortable. Factory sound system, has CD player, Auxilary cord capability and a perfect Air conditioning, most of all an entirely excellent practical car to own.
The car could be test driven at Buggy Bank: 2821 Shattuck Ave. Berkeley, Ca, a car display location any time during during the week/end except Tues. Their tel is 510-848-3015. Im selling because I needed a bigger SUV at this point and truly regret having to sell it so soon. Serious buyers only please and can negotiate on price! Thank you and look forward to hear from you. |

Nissan GT-R goes 183 mph on ice in Russia
Sat, 06 Apr 2013When a pair of Russian pilots wanted to set a local ice-speed record, they chose a stock Nissan GT-R for the task. Roman Rusinov, a Russian race car driver, and Andrey Leontjev, a Russian auto journalist, took Godzilla to Lake Baikal and ran it up to 294.8 kilometers per hour (182.8 miles per hour) across frozen stuff estimated to be 1.4 meters thick.
While the worldwide record of 205.48 mph was set by Juha Kankkunen in a Bentley Supersports Convertible, the mark achieved by Rusinov and Leontjev establishes a new Russian record. Well done, boys. You can watch it all go down in the video below.
Nissan rolls Versa Note inside world's largest zorb [w/video]
Mon, 27 Oct 2014With features like lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring and moving object detection bundled into its Safety Shield suite, Nissan touts the Versa Note as among the safer vehicles on the road. And to highlight that, the Japanese automaker has taken its diminutive hatchback Zorbing.
Zwhat now, you ask? Zorbing. It's a sport (really more of a recreational activity, if you ask us) that involves getting into a giant inflatable ball, rolling down a slope and, well... that's about the extent of it. It's the same thing we did on hills as kids, only with more plastic. And ridicule.
The CarZorb which Nissan had crafted for the Note measures 60 feet around and weighs a metric ton. Nissan tested the device, which took two months to make, at a "top secret military training facility in the UK," then placed the hatchback inside and rolled it down a hill, all for the sake of the two-minute video clip below. So we hope you enjoy.
Nissan, Toyota offering payment deferments to people affected by government shutdown
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Two weeks into the budget-related government shutdown and it sounds like some progress is finally being made, but that doesn't really help furloughed government employees pay their bills. To help out a little, Nissan and Toyota are joining Hyundai with offering payment deferments to current owners and lessees.
In a release, a Nissan spokesperson said the company is "sympathetic to any of our customers who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances - many times outside of their control."
Both Japanese automakers are allowing payment extensions of up to 90 days without penalties or fees. Unlike the Hyundai Assurance Plan, though, it doesn't seem like the Nissan or Toyota assistance will be extended to those who are still in the buying process. Scroll down for press releases from both companies about their respective payment deferment programs.
