2010 Nissan 370z Touring Roadster on 2040-cars
Roseburg, Oregon, United States
One owner, non-smoker, touring roadster purchased new November, 2009. It has been driven on 6 major trips through 16 states, nearly all freeway/highway miles. This car has been stored in heated garage, and has been meticulously maintained. The tires are ZR Rated Nitto Motivos, replaced 3000 miles ago. This roadster has the Sport Package and Nissan Navigation System Options (see descriptions in the photos), which include rev matching downshifts in Sport mode, and voice activation for navigation and phone calls while driving (voice activation works with top up only). There are several small paint chips on the front bumper, touched up with recently mixed brilliant silver touch-up paint (included). There are two small paint blemishes on the right rear wheel, and a small curb scrape on the right front wheel, both shown in the photos--neither are noticible unless you are very close to the wheel and looking specifically for them. The car is like new otherwise, and we truly love touring in it. It is a fast, stable road eating machine. The cooled/ventilated seats are awesome on hot top-down days. It has XM satellite radio and a 9.3 GB hard drive, with every CD we own downloaded, mainly baby-boomer rock&roll (we can delete all if desired). We hate to sell it, but need the garage space for a vintage car restoration project. See photos for Window Sticker data. |

Nissan ZEOD RC stretches its legs for the first time
Fri, 25 Oct 2013Ever see one of those videos where a baby deer is born and immediately starts walking? Well, this isn't one of those. For starters, the Nissan ZEOD RC isn't exactly a newborn. Nissan took the design of the DeltaWing, gave it a hybrid engine and called it something new. And it hardly started galloping straight out the box, either: this was just a low-speed demonstration run, held at Fuji Speedway where it debuted this past weekend.
Still, seeing the car that's destined to take the first lap of Le Mans under electric power alone actually start up and run is something of a landmark in the development of electric racing cars - even if this is, despite Nissan's best efforts to avoid the term, a hybrid, not a pure EV. The name stands for Zero Emissions On Demand, not zero emissions all the time. But then ZEATT wouldn't make for a very good name anyway, would it? See for yourself in the video below.
Nissan to add Rogue, Murano hybrid around 2015
Sun, 25 Aug 2013Except for the limited-production, Toyota-assisted Altima Hybrid, Nissan has pretty much shied away from hybrid vehicles, but that is all about to change. As a part of a plan to launch a total of 15 electrified vehicles by 2016, Nissan is launching the Pathfinder Hybrid, which goes on sale this fall, and we've heard in the past that the Altima will get another hybrid variant, as well. Now, Green Car Reports is confirming that the Murano and the smaller Rogue (seen above in next-gen prototype phase) will both receive hybrid powertrains.
Though riding on different platforms, both hybrid crossovers could share the system being introduced in the Pathfinder, consisting of a 2.5-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine, a 22-horsepower electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. There is still no word on when the next-gen Murano will arrive, but the 2014 Nissan Rogue will be introduced on September 10.
Datsun to unveil second model later this month
Sun, 08 Sep 2013Datsun, Nissan's new sub-brand for emerging markets, has announced plans to unveil its second model. Its first, the Go, was unveiled almost two months ago, and promised affordable, connected motoring for five in a handsome hatchback body. Datsun is following that up with a pair of new models for Indonesia.
The first of these two new vehicles will be shown on September 17 in Jakarta, eschewing the typical auto show debut. It's targeted at so-called "risers," the nickname for a group of highly aspirational customers in the Indonesian market. Datsun developed it locally with help from Nissan, and it'll cost under 100 million Indonesian rupiah (about $8,900 at today's rates).
We'll have the full boatload of information on the newest member of the Datsun family when it debuts on September 17. Scroll on to read the full press release from Datsun.
