This is a beautiful looking 1988 Nissan 300ZX. We are the original owner and I have the original title of ownership, there are 44,900 original miles on this car. We have the front floor mats, both of the original removable T-Top sunshades, and the T-Top storage bags. The complete original tool kit and jack are in their storage tray in the back.

This Nissan has been garaged when not in use, which really helped preserve this car. It is equipped with the 5-speed transmission, T-Tops, and the blue cloth interior. All of the dash instrumentation is working. All of the dash backlighting is working. The air conditioning is cold. The power windows/door-locks/mirrors, stereo, are all working correctly. All of the doors, windows, hatch, and hood open smoothly and easily without any drooping or creakiness. The tops come on and off easily, and lock properly with the key.

This Nissan runs and drives beautifully. The 3.0L V6 engine runs very strong. It starts easily, idles smoothly, and purrs like new. The transmission shifts crisply and easily, The suspension and steering is nice and tight. This car is a very tight driving car, and there aren’t any rattles, noises or vibrations. There is nothing about this Nissan that would prevent me from driving this Nissan anywhere in the country right now.

The Blue exterior of this 300ZX look absolutely fantastic! The Blue paint is super glossy, brilliant and amazingly clean over the entire body. Both of the bumpers are extra clean and in excellent condition. The body of this car is very straight and extremely clean. There isn’t any rust on the body or on the lower rocker panels, and the undercarriage is also in excellent condition because this car has not been driven in snow or inclement weather, this is ORIGINAL CALIFORNIA CAR.

The interior of this Nissan has been well maintained and is in beautiful condition. The seats and front carpeting are very fresh and clean. There aren’t any stains, holes or wear damage in any of the seats. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle, and there aren’t any burn marks or odors of any sort inside this Nissan.

The history report is clean without any accidents or damage, and the title is clear without any liens or encumbrances. This is an excellent running 300ZX that should provide lots of pleasure and great service for many years to come. Have it shipped to you or come pick it up and drive this beautiful car home

Runway Rumble: Nissan GT-R, Ducati 1098 and Lamborghini Reventon Roadster battle it out

Tue, 29 Jan 2013

One 2.5-mile runway, three different ways to take off: a Ducati 1098, a tuned Nissan GT-R with 580 horsepower and a launch control upgrade, and a Lamborghini Reventon Roadster. You'd naturally expect the Ducati to assert it's lightweight, high-horsepower authority in these matters, but with more than two miles to run, the ride that gets the jump at the line isn't always the one that gets the win.
That comes in especially handy for the Lamborghini, which suffers from a bad start in the first race and just looks plain ordinary in the second, until it finds redemption. You can see how it all goes down in the video below.

Nissan wants an American driver for its Le Mans team

Sat, 20 Sep 2014

"We'll use every driver development tool we have to take them to the next level, but they will also have to step up." - Darren Cox
Nissan is aiming to put an American behind the wheel of one of its LMP1 racecars in 2016 as part of plans to grow its motorsports program in the United States.

Nissan reveals radical BladeGlider concept for Tokyo debut

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Radical reinvention of the automobile doesn't happen very often. There's a reason they refer to it as "reinventing the wheel", after all. But that's what a team of racecar designers did with the original DeltaWing concept in 2010. Originally proposed as an IndyCar racer, the project was subsequently redesigned for Le Mans. That's when Nissan got on board, supported the project for a few races, then took the design in its own direction with the ZEOD RC. And now it's taking it to the road... via the auto show.
What we have here is the BladeGlider concept, a proposal for a delta-shaped electric sportscar which Nissan will present at the Tokyo Motor Show in a couple of weeks. Designed to focus on driving pleasure, the BladeGlider is about as radical as they come. Like the DeltaWing and ZEOD RC, it's got a narrow front track and wide rear to minimize drag and optimize stability, packing a 1+2 seating arrangement to put the driver front and center like in a McLaren F1, with upward-swinging doors and underbody aerodynamics to keep it glued to the road. In-wheel motors (of unspecified output) provide the power, a lightweight lithium-ion battery (not to mention the carbon-fiber bodywork) keeps it all fearther-like, and weight distribution is heavily biased towards the rear at 30:70.
A radical concept, to be sure, but here's the kicker: Nissan wants to build it. As you can see from the press release below, the BladeGlider "is both a proposal for the future direction of Nissan electric vehicle (EV) development and an exploratory prototype for an upcoming production vehicle". While it would undoubtedly take some time to develop, much less certify for road, seeing one of these - or even better, driving one - on our favorite stretches of tarmac strikes us as a prospect worth waiting for.
