Please review pictures and detail.  I will answer any questions you have.  More detail can also be seen at http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3828985/1996-nissan-240sx/, although it is a bit out of date.

I have had this car for nearly 11 years, originally purchasing it off a CarMax lot.  It has always been garaged.  I bought it August 5, 2002 with 63,645 miles.

It currently only has 79,650 miles and less than 5K on the drivetrain.  The custom built 2.4L KADE-T engine was built professionally, dyno’d at 502whp/495lbft running 26lbs boost, capable of more I chose to not pursue it as I also wanted a reliable daily driver.  While these cars are highly sought after for drifting and drag racing, this car has never been abused nor raced.

The factory paint is pearl metallic white, found on the upgraded SE models and is as original and shiny as the day it rolled off the factory floor.  The car has never been hit nor in an accident.  The paint and body are nearly flawless; there is no rust, peeling or fading.  There are only two areas for me to point out, (1) is on the driver’s side hood near the front – a small ding which happened in my shop many years ago, and (2) the common paint chipping on the bottom of the front bumper spoiler.

The interior was upgraded to a supple two-tone black and white Katzkin leather.  It is flawless, as is the rest of the interior.  The head unit is not working; could be a simple fix but its an old unit and they're cheap to come by.  The rear drag radials are bald and will need to be replaced.  There are a few outer rim scratches on the Volks, but nothing noticeable unless you are on it with a magnifying glass.

Car was chosen by Enjuku Racing as the backdrop for their advertisement in S3 magazine; and also shown in the reader's rides section.

Why am I selling?  I swore I'd never sell it, but life has a funny way of sneaking up on you.  I have three children that apparently grew overnight!  One in college and two starting this year.  I have other vehicles, so enough said.

I hold clean and clear title with no liens.

Cadillac ELR, Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas win Eyes on Design awards

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

This year's annual Eyes on Design awards were presented at the end of press days for the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday. Given out for the best production and concept car designs that debuted at the show, and voted on by an esteemed panel of actual car designers, this year's award for best production vehicle design went to the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, which was the show favorite among Autoblog editors, apparently did not impress the Eyes on Design judges enough with its all-new vent-festooned design.
The award for best concept design was actually split as a tie among the Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas concepts. Last year's winners were the 2013 Ford Fusion and the Lexus LF-LC concept.
The Eyes on Design organization also presented a new honor this year called the Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz, former Vice Chairman of General Motors. Lutz is reported to have given a defense of design in his acceptance speech, arguing that advancements in quality across the industry as a whole have made good design a key differentiator for buyers.

This tiny 1.5L engine from Nissan makes 400 horsepower

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Back in 2012, Ford packed its tiny 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder in a carry-on suitcase, destined for use in the Fiesta here in the US. In June, Nissan will pack its tiny new three-cylinder engine in a 24 Hours of Le Mans racecar. Nissan's don't-call-me-DeltaWing ZEOD RC racecar will still be able to tackle a single lap under full electric power, but the rest of the time it will be powered by the new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
Holding the lightweight engine (at right) is Nismo president Shoichi Miyatani, and he's likely smiling because that 40-kilogram (88-pound) engine packs quite a punch with 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Nissan would like to take a moment to point out this engine's power-to-weight is better than the engines currently used in Formula One racecars. Scroll down for more information on this new race engine, which we'll see in action at Le Mans in June.

Nissan ZEOD RC on track and from behind the wheel

Wed, 17 Sep 2014

The Nissan ZEOD RC hybrid racecar has had mixed success in its competition life. It was invented to do a completely electric, high-speed lap at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which it was able to do in practice. However, when the big event actually came, the car lasted less than an hour before it had to bow out with transmission issues. Nissan hasn't completely given up on its experiment, though. The experience (and possibly some of the tech) is going to help with the GT-R LM racer next year, and now the ZEOD is getting its chance to see how it handles the Top Gear test track.
Unfortunately, it's not The Stig piloting the ZEOD; instead, the magazine's motoring editor Ollie Marriage is the lucky man for the job. The car's sharp shape seems to be a good metaphor for how it handles because it just seems to dart around the track. Its tiny, turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 400 horsepower and two electric motors put out a claimed 750 horsepower, and that seems like plenty for the relatively short Top Gear course.
As usual of Top Gear, the cinematography here is fantastic, and a second video shows off a single lap of the course from around the car. It's amazing to watch, especially with its big screen constantly showing the camera view out of the rear. Scroll down to see both.
