Up for sale is a 2010 Mini Cooper S Camden 50th Anniversary Edition. Mint condition with only 30,500 miles. All stock, never race or abused. This is a very low volume production to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mini brand. A truly collectible car.
Available solely on 2010 Mini Cooper and Cooper S three-doors and named for a tiny North London neighborhood, this special edition consists of one of three metallic paint colors (This one is Silver White). Basic features: - 6-speed Manual Transmission - Heated seats - Xenon headlight with washer - Roof deck spoiler - DTC Other Special features: - Harman/Kardon audio system - 17-inch special edition wheels - Mission Control (I never used) Mini Cooper enthusiast features: - No sunroof - No Run Flat Tires - Spare and jack included - Sport and normal modes Background: I am the second owner of this car. Purchased it 2 years ago as an off lease car in Atlanta Georgia (no snow and salt) and drove it back to NJ. It had 20K miles. I put on a little over 10K miles in 2 years. (It's been my second car). It's been maintained by Ramsey Mini with records. All factory complimentary services are done. New breaks were replaced last july and this past Feb. Regular tires were put on before last winter and still has over 80% of tread. It comes with spare tire which I don't keep in the car (I drive 5 miles to work). Last chance to order an R56 Mini Hardtop
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Mini will be ending custom orders of the current R56 Cooper Hardtop ahead of the retooling process for the new F56 Mini. That means owners who aren't enamored with what they've seen of the model's new look but still want a personalized version of the tossable hot hatch had best get down to their local Mini dealership and submit their order post-haste.
According to Mini enthusiast site Motoringfile, all orders must be submitted by August 28 in order to get a custom build. Orders are also locked in after that, so if you do get one of the spots, make sure you're absolutely content with the car you order. This cutoff will affect all models of the Hardtop, including the John Cooper Works model.
After August 28, owners will need to wait for the new Hardtop to arrive, which Motoringfile estimates will be in March of 2014. If you miss out on this final allocation of hardtops, all is not lost, however. Mini will still accept personalized orders on other bodystyles, which won't be replaced by F56-based models for some time.
Mini headed to North Pole to meet Santa Claus
Wed, 07 Nov 2012It seems that retailers are bringing out the Christmas decorations earlier each year, but Mini's premature holiday spirit could be one for the record books. The day after Black Friday, the "Mini Goes to Santa Claus" adventure will depart from BMW headquarters in Munich, Germany and head up Rovaniemi, Finland (just outside the Arctic Circle) to deliver Christmas letters to Santa Claus -he must have an mail outpost here for his North Pole workshop. Guinness World Records is also getting involved with this trek, by competing for a for the longest-ever wish list to Santa.
Mini has assembled teams of vehicles from 16 countries consisting of all of its current models to drive the almost 1,900 miles. Although it won't be a part of the convoy, the Mini Paceman will be in Rovaniemi to welcome the groups along with former rally driver Rauno Aaltonen who will "demonstrate his unequalled talent" while driving the Paceman. We're not exactly sure what this means, but snowy climates and rally drivers always seem to be a recipe for great entertainment to us.

Mini Paceman Adventure photos arrive by the trucklette-load
Fri, 25 Apr 2014Yesterday, we brought you the news of the existence of this Mini Paceman Adventure tiny truck, and the story of how it came to be. Long story short: it was a lighthearted collaboration between apprentices and instructors at parent BMW plants in Germany. The mini-sized pickup bed and off-road kit may not make the Paceman All4 actually practical, but we'd argue that they do make the one-off fairly loveable.
Apparently the Mini photographers agree with that "loveable" part. We'd heard that there were some better, higher-resolution images of the Paceman Adventure on the way, but we didn't expect there to be hundreds of them. But as you can see, the shooters went out and thoroughly documented the pickup, shooting it in several locations, still and moving, and documenting some of its construction as well.
