One Owner 2005 Mercedes Sl500 Low Miles! Will Deliver Free!* on 2040-cars

Year:2005 Mileage:35800
Location:

Benton, Arkansas, United States

Benton, Arkansas, United States

First of all, Thank you for looking at my listing!  I have been on EBay for several years and pride myself on honesty and integrity!  Please ask questions! I believe that communication is the key to any successful EBay transaction!  If you ask a question, I will respond within 24 hours.

I am selling this for a mentor/hunting buddy of mine.  I sold a Harley for him a couple of years ago.  He is a fairly successful business man and has some toys as his discretion!

This is a one owner, 2005 Mercedes SL500.  It is black with gray interior.  I will describe it to the best of my ability.

IT ONLY HAS 35,800 miles plus or minus a few as I will drive it a little while I have it!  This has been garage kept.  You would have to know the owner and I do not think he would mind me saying that he is meticulous (anal) about his personal belongings.  The car has just been serviced at the Little Rock Mercedes dealership and had a major service completed.

The tires have a lot of tread left.  The car is in really great shape with no dings.  There are some minor road wear chips on the hood and a small scratch on the right rear. See the pics.  I say minor as most people would not notice. Other than that, it is awesome, maybe just needs a coat of wax.  The interior is super clean and has never been smoked in.  The pictures of the floorboards are WITHOUT being vacuumed. This might give you some insight as to how clean the car is.  The only interior issue of any kind that I have found is that there is some slight wear on the driver's seat bolster.  This is fairly common in most low to the ground cars.  I have taken pictures to show this.

The top drops and is put up and the push of a button, no boots to put on, latches etc.

The car has never been wrecked, serviced regularly with Mobil 1 synthetic, and happens to be a rocket!  It is fun to drive and ride in.  I stopped for fuel and was complimented on it!

The car is located in central Arkansas. I will deliver it for free up to 250 to 300 miles. Past that is either negotiable with me or you can ship it at your own expense.

As I stated earlier, if you have questions, PLEASE ASK!  It can be hard to buy a car sight unseen, but this is a sweet ride.  I can email additional pictures and can video or facetime if needed for you to see the car.

I ask that you please Bid only if you have the funds available and are wanting to truly buy the car. As such, there is a $500 nonrefundable deposit via Paypal within 48 hours of the auction close.  The remaining balance is due in cashier's check or cash.

I will work with you however needed to make this a good transaction.

Good Luck Bidding!

Mercedes to roll out C63 AMG late in 2014 with 4.0L V8

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

The new 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is upon us, launching initially in North America with turbocharged four-cylinder C300 4Matic and six-cylinder C400 4Matic flavors. But that's only the tip of the proverbial iceberg when it comes to the vast array of powertrain configurations that will be offered in the new C-Class in markets around the world. Orders will soon be rolling in for gasoline, hybrid and diesel engines with four, six or eight cylinders, driving the rear wheels or all four, with the seven-speed automatic transmission soon to be replaced by a new nine-speed unit. But what enthusiasts are really looking forward to is the next C63 AMG.
As BMW has done with the M3 (and new M4), Mercedes has gradually ratcheted up the cylinder count in its AMG C-Class, graduating from the 3.6-liter V6 in the original C36 AMG to the 4.3-liter V8 in the C43 AMG, then the 5.5-liter V8 in the C55 AMG before going the distance with the sublime 6.2-liter V8 in the C63 AMG. Like its rivals, Mercedes is expected to use turbochargers as a replacement for displacement in the next model, but unlike its Bavarian rival, it won't be losing any cylinders in the process.
Skipping the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that has gone on to power other AMG models, the next C63 AMG is still expected to introduce a new 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing between 450 and 500 horsepower. It'll also reportedly keep the same seven-speed automatic transmission (instead of switching to the new nine-speed), but the jury's still out on whether it'll come with rear- or all-wheel drive (or offer buyers the choice). The downsized V8 - codenamed M177 - is then expected to find its way into other models, but the C-Class will be the first to get it when it arrives before the end of the new year ahead.

Next Mercedes S-Class stretching into this 600 Pullman limo

Fri, 15 Mar 2013

To the concern of nobody in particular, Mercedes-Benz will not be re-upping its Maybach line of ultra-luxury limousines. No, instead the German automaker will be stretching its already roomy S-Class, to make this upcoming 600 Pullman version of the decked-out beast.
The car in our new gallery of spy shots is sporting beefy B-pillars and a massive set of rear doors that should allow perfectly graceful ingress and egress from what is likely to be a palatial rear space. (In one photo we can even see a long-wheelbase S-Class in line with the new Pullman, handily exhibiting the size of the new variant.) The exterior modifications are otherwise obscured, though we can guess at revised front and rear fascia and lighting elements, based on both end being heavily taped for these test runs.
It's a good bet that the Pullman will make use of M-B's twin-turbocharged V12 engine, though sources indicate that a hybrid version might eventually be in the offing, as well.

Mercedes Sprinter updated to take on Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

By the end of this year, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter will be the second-oldest nameplate in its segment here in the States, but with hot new competition waiting in the wings, Mercedes-Benz is giving its hauler a freshened look and more equipment to stave off rivals. The Sprinter was a pioneer in bringing Euro-style delivery vans to North America, and it's inspired others to transplant their Continental offerings, with the all-new Ford Transit and Ram Promaster models launching shortly. It will also continue to do battle with lower-cost traditional competitors like the Chevrolet Express and Ford E-Series.
The big Sprinter will thus get a new look to go with more safety features and available technology. While the information released here technically covers the Euro-spec 2013 Sprinter (which goes on sale in September), the US market is expected to get the new Sprinter for the 2014 model year with many of the same features. Some of this new technology includes a Crosswind Assist feature as standard equipment and the availability of Collision Prevention Assist and Blind Spot Assist as optional safety measures - Mercedes-Benz says that all three are firsts for any van in the world. Also added to the updated Sprinter is a new 1.8-liter supercharged gasoline (or CNG) engine producing 156 horsepower, which will complement the line of diesel engines that carry over and help make the Sprinter the first cargo van to meet the upcoming Euro VI emissions standards. Additionally, a lower ride height is said to improve fuel economy and should improve handling while aiding ingress and egress for both people and cargo.
In terms of styling, the Sprinter's new face also looks more like the current line of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. This includes a more upright grille along with changes to the hood, headlights and bumper that lend it a closer kinship to models like the CLS-Class and the updated E-Class. The Sprinter will offer both halogen and HID headlights, while the latter will get LED running lamps and offer Highbeam Assist. The images shown here only reveal the exterior from front angles, but it looks like few, if any, changes have been made to the rear of the van. Interior upgrades include a thicker steering wheel, a new shift lever and the latest in audio, navigation and entertainment systems. Scroll down for the official press release for the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
