This Mercedes Benz S430 is a ONE OWNER California car. It is free of weather related rust or flood issues like many cars located back East. It has lived it's life in Los Angeles and garage kept since new. This was adult owned and was serviced by 2 Mercedes Benz dealerships exclusively and we have all documentation and records for the car. I took photos of the records. This is a non rust climate car with 91,395 original miles. Drives perfectly and needs nothing mechanically. This car was driven by an older couple who very took good care of it. Never smoked in or abused. Drives as it should. The car is loaded up with navigation, heated seats, folding power mirrors, full leather and electric trunk closer . The body is straight and in excellent condition mechanically and cosmetically. There are only some minor scratches to the rear bumper but nothing else. The alloy wheels are even free of curb rash. Boston bombers were tracked using Mercedes mbrace [w/video]
Sun, 28 Apr 2013We now know Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the two brothers said to be behind the Boston Marathon bombings, planned to head for New York City to detonate more improvised explosive devices. As it turns out, that plan was foiled by the quick thinking of one Mercedes-Benz owner, diligent police work and the Mercedes-Benz mbrace system. When the brothers carjacked a 26-year-old Chinese entrepreneur identified only as "Danny," they didn't realize his Mercedes-Benz M-Class was equipped with the mbrace system, which can call for help in the event of an accident or track the vehicle in the event of a theft.
According to reports, the Tsarnaev brothers held Danny hostage for nearly 90 minutes while they drove around Boston forming a plan until they had to stop for fuel. When one of the brothers went inside to pay, the other put his gun down for a moment. Danny took the opportunity to unlatch his seat belt, open the door and run to another nearby gas station, where he told the owner to call the police.
When police arrived, they used the mbrace system to track the SUV after receiving Danny's permission, and it wasn't long before a shootout between police and the brothers ensued. When it was over, the eldest brother lay dead in the street. For more on the story, view the video report available below.

Mercedes-Benz to build new ML coupe-crossover in Alabama in 2015
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Mercedes-Benz will expand its factory in Tuscaloosa, AL, to build the ML Coupe, a new crossover that will join its lineup in 2015. Mercedes will also ramp up production to build facelifted versions of the M-Class and GL-Class SUVs, lifting the factory's total production capacity to about 300,000 units annually in 2015. It made 185,000 vehicles in 2013. In addition to SUVs, the Tuscaloosa site also makes the C-Class sedan.
The plans come as part of Mercedes' strategy to capitalize on Americans' increasing demands for SUVs. The company said the SUV market was up 12 percent in first half of 2014, and expects it to grow at twice the rate of the regular market in 2015 and 2016.
