Bright white exterior with shale leather interior. This car is clean,clean, clean, no rust at all. The interior is next to mint, with the exception of some minor wear on the driver's seat and the center console. Everything works as new, ice cold A/C, Navigation, etc. Recent 20" ASA staggered rims (20 x10 in the rear & 20 x 8 in the front) cost $2,300.00. New battery, brakes, and AMG exhaust. Full air ride suspension service with new compressor. Recent tune-up and Mobil 1 oil change. This car has 195,000 miles, but looks, drives, and shifts like a car with 50,000 miles. This car is currently on the road, registered, insured and title in hand. It is ready for a new owner to drive anywhere in style. This is my current daily driver, so the mileage may increase some until sold.
The NADA book value of this vehicle with the current mileage is still $8,500 and I have priced it to sell now. The cars flaws are as follows: Some minor clear coat peeling on the trunk lid (not noticeable until you are up close). The rear bumper was previously touched up. The title states prior flood damage (no damage was actually done, the prior owner was looking for a insurance payout). The check engine light is on due to needing an O2 sensor (cost is approximately $150.00 plus 2 hours labor). This does not affect anything as far as driving, but would probably need to be fixed to get an inspection sticker, depending on your state. If the buyer selects the Buy It Now option, I will have the O2 sensor replaced before the car is picked up by the new owner. The radio turns on, but no sound? Inspections welcomed before bidding. Gullwing America turns SLS AMG Roadster into stunning 1955 300 SC redux
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Gullwing America specializes in what it calls "retro styling meets modern technology." It's next demonstration of that is the convertible above, a stylized recreation of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC (inset) supported by the structure of a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster. Commissioned by a client in Eastern Europe, the resulting car is called the 300 SLC.
The hand-formed aluminum bodywork required just a few changes to the SLS AMG Roadster, namely reworking the headlights into a stacked arrangement of LEDs and relocating the pop-up spoiler behind the cabin. The retro grille and long, straight hood evoke the past, the custom exhaust, height-adjustable suspension, 21-inch wheels up front and 22-inch wheels in back, however, stray a little further from history. The 300 SLC will come with a hardtop and be one-of-a-kind, making it even rarer than its inspiration, of which 92 were made.

Mercedes working on new inline-six engines
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Mercedes-Benz will make a return to the inline-six-cylinder engine game, according to a report from the UK's AutoCar. It's not clear what's prompting the phasing out of the current array of V6s.
We'll see the first inline-six from Mercedes in next-generation E-Class, set to debut in 2016. Following that, it'll arrive as part of a mid-cycle refresh for the C-Class in 2017. What's particularly special about the new inline-six is its modular nature, which will allow Mercedes to eventually spinoff three- and four-cylinder options, with the three-pot arriving alongside the new inline-six.
In other news, AutoCar uncovered some details on the next C-Class AMG, which will ditch its excellent 6.2-liter, AMG V8 in favor of a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, although we've already told you about that. What we didn't know at the time, though, was that the 4.0-liter would be paired first with a new, seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission and offer all-wheel drive. AC also reports that a nine-speed Speedshift is in the works.

It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
