1994 Mercedes-Benz S420 Black On Black!!!

Up for sale i have a 94 Mercedes S420 Black on black for sale. There are minor issues with the car with the biggest issue being the title! Here is the story i have all paper work to back it. I traded with cash to purchase this vehicle about a year and a half ago when the owner handed me the title it was never signed into his name from another state, Not an issue i took it to my people and the title got rejected from DOT 3 times. Well i had some people do some research and it was sold a couple times with out having anyone put it in their name, The dealers that had it just stamped it and passed it on, "jumping" the title. The original dealer is under investigation and would not help me they claim they never had the car even though the title is stamped with their information and signature. The only way for me to get a clear title is to do a court ordered title which i have not go around to doing because well i can't drive the car and i am not sure how much it is going to cost me. Again i do have a title and a dealer re-assignment which has all been rejected. At least here in PA. so i have all emails and paper work on the car with everything i have been doing. Any questions please feel free to ask!!!

Now for the car! well when i got the car it had an power steering leak i fixed that and went on from there. it was said to have 115,000 on it but i believe it has more then that due to the cluster not working when i purchased it which i replaced with a newer style digital one that works. The car ran strong and had no problems for me, the last time i drove it, it was running shaky so i put my scanner on it and i got a couple sensor codes so i looked into them and well it turns out the the upper main wire harness was made very cheaply at the factory that it dry rots and breaks apart. I then was going to order a new harness 600.00 but didn't want to put money into it if i wasn't going to be able to drive it. it has HID lights 4 LED fog lights that the previous owner added, Newer style grill I have spare parts such as an axle that i thought was bad but turned out to be the rear brakes.. The vacuum assist doors work on all but the passenger side rear. The car looks like it was side swiped and i believe that is why the doors don't work. It needs a new air pump for the vacuum door locks. Again all this would have been fixed if i could get the title into my name and passed someone might be able to but if not, the car has A LOT of good parts. Interior is not too bad it is a 94 has some wear the rear seats are fine the front have some rips still very comfortable to drive. I loved to drive and wish i still could but its doing nothing where it is. I took as many detailed pictures as i could, If you know anything about these cars you know they cost around 85-90K in 94 and some in good condition sell for around 10-20k well in mint i am not asking anywhere near that i am starting the bidding at 99.99 with a reserve if it does not reach my reserve i may just sell it any way.

In the pictures you will see the side swipe that the previous owner said he did, he also tried to repair the passenger side mirror with caulk??? not sure why, other then that body in great shape!!

I am also able to transport the vehicle to you depending on distance i run a transport company, the car needs to be on a trailer no driving as it will be very slow and shaky until that harness is replaced Again any questions feel free to message me

I am trying to disclose everything so no one gets screwed like i did. The car is a great car and probably only needs 800 dumped into it to get it perfect driving.but then again you can't do that with the title having its issues, someone might know someone to get around that. It hurts me to sell but i must do what i have to do, I have all paper work emails letters from everything i have tried to do with the title im sure some more work and you will be able to get a title and have a nice vehicle.

Sold as is where is.

Mercedes Sprinter updated to take on Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

By the end of this year, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter will be the second-oldest nameplate in its segment here in the States, but with hot new competition waiting in the wings, Mercedes-Benz is giving its hauler a freshened look and more equipment to stave off rivals. The Sprinter was a pioneer in bringing Euro-style delivery vans to North America, and it's inspired others to transplant their Continental offerings, with the all-new Ford Transit and Ram Promaster models launching shortly. It will also continue to do battle with lower-cost traditional competitors like the Chevrolet Express and Ford E-Series.
The big Sprinter will thus get a new look to go with more safety features and available technology. While the information released here technically covers the Euro-spec 2013 Sprinter (which goes on sale in September), the US market is expected to get the new Sprinter for the 2014 model year with many of the same features. Some of this new technology includes a Crosswind Assist feature as standard equipment and the availability of Collision Prevention Assist and Blind Spot Assist as optional safety measures - Mercedes-Benz says that all three are firsts for any van in the world. Also added to the updated Sprinter is a new 1.8-liter supercharged gasoline (or CNG) engine producing 156 horsepower, which will complement the line of diesel engines that carry over and help make the Sprinter the first cargo van to meet the upcoming Euro VI emissions standards. Additionally, a lower ride height is said to improve fuel economy and should improve handling while aiding ingress and egress for both people and cargo.
In terms of styling, the Sprinter's new face also looks more like the current line of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. This includes a more upright grille along with changes to the hood, headlights and bumper that lend it a closer kinship to models like the CLS-Class and the updated E-Class. The Sprinter will offer both halogen and HID headlights, while the latter will get LED running lamps and offer Highbeam Assist. The images shown here only reveal the exterior from front angles, but it looks like few, if any, changes have been made to the rear of the van. Interior upgrades include a thicker steering wheel, a new shift lever and the latest in audio, navigation and entertainment systems. Scroll down for the official press release for the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.

Mercedes dealers authorized to spend $2,500 on perks for S-Class customers

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

If you drop $100,000 on a luxury sedan, it seems only reasonable to receive some preferential treatment at the dealership you purchased from. After all, that price isn't just for the car - you're paying for the brand and all the cachet that entails. For Mercedes-Benz, those benefits have apparently been lacking relative to the German brand's luxury competitors.
That's set to change, though, as Automotive News reports that the German brand is placing a much greater emphasis on keeping its customers happy and loyal with its MB Select program. Starting with the new S-Class and spreading to the CLA-Class (and eventually beyond), dealers are being given money - up to $2,500 in the case of the flagship sedan - just to improve the customer experience.
We agree, improving the "customer experience" is quite a vague term, so it's nice that Mercedes USA's CEO, Steve Cannon, offered up some examples to AN at the LA Auto Show. For example, a customer couldn't fit his sunglasses into the overhead compartment. "So we bought him a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses that fit because of their shape," Cannon said.

Mercedes calls CLA 'best launch in 20 years' as it warns dealers of tight supplies

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

It's still in the early going, but it's looking more and more like the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA is a verifiable home run for the German brand. According to a new report from Bloomberg, the new small car isn't just widening the sales gap between Mercedes and BMW, it's attracting a new, younger breed of customers into the brand's showrooms. But that early success is straining supplies of the turbocharged four-door.
Dealers have been warned that the first half of 2014 will see limited supplies for CLA, with a letter to dealers indicating that "tight inventories and low days supply" will exist from February through June, despite the car's Kecskemét, Hungary plant running at full tilt.
"This is our best launch in 20 years," said Steve Cannon, the US boss for Mercedes. "The CLA has been a phenomenal success right out of the gate." The numbers certainly support that. We reported in early October that Mercedes moved 2,300 CLAs in its first week on sale, and now Bloomberg is saying CLA sales were almost singlehandedly responsible for Benz's November sales gains. Mercedes' annual sales are up 14 percent through the November, and it's enjoying a healthy 7,600-car lead over BMW.
