I am selling my E55 show car. It is incredibly beautiful, fast, and loaded. Only the highest quality parts and accessories were used. I just don't don't have room in my garage for all of my cars, and I've enjoyed this one for many years.

Only 1 ding I have noticed and it is smaller than a dime

Mechanically, it runs perfectly.

I change the oil every 3 months with mobil 1 (occasionally the mobil 1 specifically made for AMG engines when I can get a hold of it)

All tires have been replaced since I got the care with less than 3,000 miles on each (2 are brand new)

Brake pads still have 50-70% life left in them

Mods:

The car has had over $80,000 invested. Everything was done professionally as you can clearly see in the pictures. The dash, trunk, etc.. all custom molded fiberglass. The car won many, many awards at various shows. The reason for the low mileage is it before I got it, it was only driven to shows and back. It's a weekend driver for me, so I don't put many miles on it. There are far too many mods for me to list them all, so I will list the important ones. I just don't have room in my garage for all of my cars and I've enjoyed this one for years, so its time to go.

Errors ( all minor, no major):

1) SRS: this error comes on because when upholstering the seats I believe they messed up the airbag sensors. Still no problem passing inspection with this.

2) Battery light: this light comes on occasionally for a short period then turns off. This is because the battery control module in Benz's does not like aftermarket equipment. The voltage and current are always optimal.

3) Tire pressure sensors: When they put the new wheels on the car, they did not transfer the sensors.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Wagon is one hot hauler [w/video]

Mentioned at the debut of the redesigned Mercedes-Benz E-Class back in January, Mercedes has finally pulled back the curtain on the E63 AMG S, which was on display at the New York Auto Show in wagon guise. The 2014 E63 AMG S ups the ante even more from a "base" E63 AMG, improving the car's performance and styling - not that it needed help with either to begin with.
Our favorite S-model upgrade is the added output tweaked out of the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, which represents a substantial gain of 27 hp and 59 lb-ft of torque over the stock E63. In wagon form, the E63 AMG S can run from 0-60 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph. All 2014 E63 AMGs come with Mercedes' 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, but the S-Model adds in a limited-slip rear differential for improved performance.
Mercedes has made sure that the extra money being spent on the S-Model is instantly noticeable with slightly different design cues and black along with 10-spoke wheels with red brake calipers peeking through. Plenty of silver-chrome and high-gloss black accents finish off the exterior styling, while the interior adds Alcantara on the steering wheel, accent stitching on the leather and contrasting silver seat belts on models with the black interior. Gullwing America turns SLS AMG Roadster into stunning 1955 300 SC redux

Gullwing America specializes in what it calls "retro styling meets modern technology." It's next demonstration of that is the convertible above, a stylized recreation of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC (inset) supported by the structure of a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster. Commissioned by a client in Eastern Europe, the resulting car is called the 300 SLC.
The hand-formed aluminum bodywork required just a few changes to the SLS AMG Roadster, namely reworking the headlights into a stacked arrangement of LEDs and relocating the pop-up spoiler behind the cabin. The retro grille and long, straight hood evoke the past, the custom exhaust, height-adjustable suspension, 21-inch wheels up front and 22-inch wheels in back, however, stray a little further from history. The 300 SLC will come with a hardtop and be one-of-a-kind, making it even rarer than its inspiration, of which 92 were made.

Mercedes to market Tesla-powered 2014 B-Class EV in U.S.

Looks like another Tesla Motors investor will be looking to cash in on their connection. Autoweek reports Mercedes-Benz will offer their B-Class in the U.S. with Tesla propulsion.
The magazine says their source at the German automaker confirms plans for a B-Class electric-only vehicle. While Tesla already provides battery packs for the battery-powered Smart ForTwo, the B-Class EV will reportedly have Tesla batteries, motor and other components. U.S. residents should be able to procure one sometime in 2014.
The same Mercedes source says plans for a hybrid B-Class have been postponed for now. Adding a range-extending, gasoline-powered engine to an electric vehicle would put the car into a different class for which rebates and incentives aren't as favorable in the States.
