You are looking at a 1996 Mercedes Benz E320 one owner with only 144k miles, we have just taking this car in as a trade, this car is one family owned. Title shows 2 owners, but this is from when father gave to his daughter. When she titled the car it was over 10 years old so PA title reads mileage exempt. We have no reason to believe that the mileage is incorrect, but it runs & drives like 45k. This is the best running e class that we have traded in a long time because this car has the powerful inline 6 cylinder, which pre-dated the V6 in the later cars after 1998, All books, a few service records & copy of original window sticker showing original selling dealer Carson-Pettit of Devon, PA, SRS light is on in dash. We were told because of a seat belt buckle that needs to be replaced. Sunroof is not working. Couple small dings on the body, but very minor, with the worst being under the passenger rear taillight, Heated seats, power seats with memory on both sides, factory trunk mounted 6-CD changer. Mercedes mulling Renault-based entry-level X-Class?
Sun, 17 Mar 2013Somewhere in between the Smart brand and the all-new A-Class (pictured above), Daimler is said to be readying a smaller entry-level product for the Mercedes-Benz brand to compete with models like the Audi A1. According to AutoBild, Mercedes-Benz will get a new hatchback based on a platform from its recent partnership with Renault-Nissan, and it could be called the X-Class.
Expected to debut by 2018, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class could be offered in sedan, hatchback and crossover variants, and it would likely have a starting price below the $20,000-euro mark. Power would come from either a 1.0-liter inline three-cylinder engine or a 1.5-liter inline-four, and the car would likely be built in a low-cost nation in order to make the financials work. Wearing the Mercedes-Benz name, the X-Class would have to exhibit more distinguishable luxury and styling to set itself apart from the models that helped provide its underpinnings.
Mercedes-Benz GLK coupe to get 2016 intro
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Radio chatter around the emerging small, premium crossover coupe genre has thus far been dominated by the Land Rover Evoque and the Mini Paceman. According to a report in Car, the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class (shown above) has received its invitation to the party and will spend the next three years getting ready: it's said that two-door variant of the crisply-angled CUV is coming in 2016, along with a redesign befitting its sleeker intentions.
To be based on the MRA platform - the rear-drive version of the company's three new modular platforms, it will also support the coming 2013 S-Class and could eventually get an AMG version to help it compete with segment offerings like the forthcoming Porsche Macan. Not much else is known about it beyond its name: Car says it will be called the GLC, a friendly nomenclature we remember best as a Mazda hatchback (allegedly for "Good Little Car"). Internet oldtimers may remember the Mazda GLC as the predecessor to the 323 (which in turn came before today's Mazda3). Either way, the GLC is not to be confused with the larger upcoming BMW X6 rival based on the ML-Class (reportedly called GLS) which is also said to still be in the works, or the front-drive based GLA, a model also edging toward production.
