I am listing my 2005 Mercedes Benz CLK55. The car is great condition. I do have a transferable warranty that is for the powertrain until 6/16/14. There is a 50.00 transfer fee that has to be done within 30 days of sale. I am located in Lititz, Pennsylvania near Manheim, PA so shipping should be easy. I'm sure if you are looking at this car you know how fast and nice the AMG is. This is in my opinion the nicest color combination. Most of the Benzes I've owned are this color combo. The car is in great shape as you can see...it has very few blemishes. If you are seriously interested I will describe the car with a walk around via phone. I assure it's in great shape. When the car is sold for a fair price, I will assure a current inspection, good tires, and all Mercedes Benz services up to date. It is due for a service B in three weeks which I will have done. I don't put a lot of miles on this car. I drive it from my garage to my heated garage at my restaurant. Options this car has are Keyless-Go and factory phone(phone missing). I think there are many options on this car because it's loaded. If you've done your homework you know these cars are a big bargain. The only reason I'm selling is to order a 2014 E class. 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup shows its freshened face
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Mercedes-Benz showed us its redesigned 2014 E-Class more than a month ago, but the Detroit Auto Show finally gave us a chance to see the full family of mid-size luxury cars and wagons in the flesh. Dieter Zetsche introduced the cars, including sedan, coupe, convertible and station wagon, on stage showing the stylish new design direction.

Gullwing America turns SLS AMG Roadster into stunning 1955 300 SC redux
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Gullwing America specializes in what it calls "retro styling meets modern technology." It's next demonstration of that is the convertible above, a stylized recreation of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC (inset) supported by the structure of a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster. Commissioned by a client in Eastern Europe, the resulting car is called the 300 SLC.
The hand-formed aluminum bodywork required just a few changes to the SLS AMG Roadster, namely reworking the headlights into a stacked arrangement of LEDs and relocating the pop-up spoiler behind the cabin. The retro grille and long, straight hood evoke the past, the custom exhaust, height-adjustable suspension, 21-inch wheels up front and 22-inch wheels in back, however, stray a little further from history. The 300 SLC will come with a hardtop and be one-of-a-kind, making it even rarer than its inspiration, of which 92 were made.

Does Alex Rodriguez' Mercedes dealership have a PR problem?
Thu, 08 Aug 2013Alex Rodriguez, in case you haven't heard, is seemingly the new Most Hated Man In Baseball, ostensibly replacing commissioner Bud Selig (for now). Rodriguez was slammed with a 211-game suspension due to his role in the MLB's latest steroid scandal in which "A-Roid," as fans have taken to calling the former superstar, was cited with steroid use and attempts to hide his involvement by "engaging in a course of conduct intended to obstruct and frustrate" the investigation, according to the MLB's official report.
Why is this on a car site, then? Because Rodriguez' name is attached Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz in League City, TX. An Ad Age report cites Mercedes-Benz USA in saying that A-Rod owns "about half'" of the dealership. Mercedes, for what it's worth, isn't going to any to any lengths to distance itself from its dealership or its controversial namesake, saying, "We never promoted the fact that A-Rod owned a dealership, so there's really nothing to 'distance' ourselves from. And since his activity is not illegal but rather prohibited by MLB, there's nothing actionable here."
With the scandal still a fresh piece of news and A-Rod's pending appeal, it's difficult to tell what sort of effect, if any, his name will have on the dealership's sales. Ad Age contacted the GM of Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz to get the dealership's view, but no calls were returned. According to Mercedes, any name change is up to Rodriguez and his partner(s) at the dealership. Somehow, though, we think A-Rod has other things to worry about beyond his dealership's name.
