Here is a great C240 wagon with low (77k) miles and is in tip top condition for it's age. If you know Mercedes cars you know that they are among the highest in quality and longevity. Just take a look and you will see them for sale with 200+ thousand miles. This one and considerable low mile when compared.
This car was driven by my wife for the pass 4-5 years. I have personally taken care of it throughout. It has no current issues or mechanical needs. All of the accessories (A/C, heat, power windows, power moonroof, exc.) are in top working condition. The car is equally mechanically sound. I have kept up with oil changes and service work (using fully synthetic fluids) for the life of the vehicle. The only upcoming needs are the tires need replacing, I could have done this my self but considering I'm selling it and it seems people are quite particular about the brand of tire they like, I didn't want to narrow the field by installing my choice of tires on the car.That will be your decision. As far as past work it has had as I mentioned the services done regularly. It's also had the brakes replace and also the front axle shafts replaced for the All wheel drive. the XM radio module you see in the photo is not working and can be updated by you if that's something your into, this module is dated compared to the newer systems. Also we replaced the front bumper due to a minor fender-bender my wife had in the car. All in All this is an awesome car that will serve you well for years to come! Mercedes S-Class Magic Body Control ad is clucking awesome
Tue, 24 Sep 2013This is a new ad from Mercedes-Benz. At no point does it show an automobile. Instead, it stars animals, but not the sort you might normally see in car commercial. This ad is all about chickens. It is bizarre, to say the least, with Diana Ross and the Supremes belting it out in the background, but it all kind of comes together when you realize just what Mercedes is hawking (yeah, pun intended).
It's for the manufacturer's Magic Body Control, found on the new S-Class. The system basically analyzes the road and prepares the suspension accordingly, leading to a ride that is, in the words of our own Chris Paukert "nothing short of spooky." Mercedes-Benz to build new ML coupe-crossover in Alabama in 2015
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Mercedes-Benz will expand its factory in Tuscaloosa, AL, to build the ML Coupe, a new crossover that will join its lineup in 2015. Mercedes will also ramp up production to build facelifted versions of the M-Class and GL-Class SUVs, lifting the factory's total production capacity to about 300,000 units annually in 2015. It made 185,000 vehicles in 2013. In addition to SUVs, the Tuscaloosa site also makes the C-Class sedan.
The plans come as part of Mercedes' strategy to capitalize on Americans' increasing demands for SUVs. The company said the SUV market was up 12 percent in first half of 2014, and expects it to grow at twice the rate of the regular market in 2015 and 2016.

Mercedes-Benz GLK coupe to get 2016 intro
Wed, 23 Jan 2013Radio chatter around the emerging small, premium crossover coupe genre has thus far been dominated by the Land Rover Evoque and the Mini Paceman. According to a report in Car, the Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class (shown above) has received its invitation to the party and will spend the next three years getting ready: it's said that two-door variant of the crisply-angled CUV is coming in 2016, along with a redesign befitting its sleeker intentions.
To be based on the MRA platform - the rear-drive version of the company's three new modular platforms, it will also support the coming 2013 S-Class and could eventually get an AMG version to help it compete with segment offerings like the forthcoming Porsche Macan. Not much else is known about it beyond its name: Car says it will be called the GLC, a friendly nomenclature we remember best as a Mazda hatchback (allegedly for "Good Little Car"). Internet oldtimers may remember the Mazda GLC as the predecessor to the 323 (which in turn came before today's Mazda3). Either way, the GLC is not to be confused with the larger upcoming BMW X6 rival based on the ML-Class (reportedly called GLS) which is also said to still be in the works, or the front-drive based GLA, a model also edging toward production.
