This is a truly rare find . 1985 was the last and the best year Mercedes built the wonderful 123 series station wagons . This car was built in June of 1985 making it one of the last ones . It was purchased by the original owner in 1985 and pampered by her and her husband over the last 29 years . It was always garaged, detailed and serviced meticulously . Whenever this car needed anything , it was always attended to right away . Every oil change and service was always performed on time and all the records are present . There are about 100 service records for a total of $20000,- showing continued ownership and the complete mileage history of the car . The original owner is now 92 years old and just does not drive anymore . That is , why it is for sale here on Ebay now .  This gorgeous wagon was finished in " deep Blue" ( MB color code 900 " Surf -blau" ) with blue MB-Tex interior . The body is in amazing condition and the paint still mostly shines like new with only minor scratches from 20 years of use . All the chrome pieces still shine .This wagon draws a lot of attention and we get compliments with it wherever we go . You just do not see them often that clean anymore . The interior is in wonderful condition as well . The seats are in great shape and they are still firm . The carpets are clean from the front to the back , even the cargo area still looks great . The headliner is perfect as well .  The original dash is still gorgeous and even the wood pieces are stunning . All the gauges work the way they should . The radio works and the power antenna functions properly . All components on the car right now works the way it should . Everything was always addressed right away and i can not think of anything it needs . The air-conditioning has been gone through and it blows ice cold and from all the vents . Check out the one picture , where the AC is icing up the front windshield . The climate control works wonderful as well . The whole front suspension had been rebuilt . This car has lots of power and the transmission shifts smooth . There are no funky noises and it is a true pleasure to drive . Just recently i went on a nonstop 800 mile drive without any issues . I was cruising at 85-90 miles per hour while averaging 26 miles per gallon of diesel . This car is very original and it has never been driven on bio diesel . ( it would be a very simple conversion , if you decide to do so . )  This would be a perfect car to drive every day for many more years and several hundred thousand miles without worrying about it . It would also be a perfect car for a classic car collector . It is the last year and with a one owner perfect history it should be hard to find . We would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it . We would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or a airport pick up for the winning bidder . If you have any questions or would like to set up an appointment to see it , please send me a note and i will get back to you promptly .  Please do have your funding in order and do all your " due diligence " BEFORE placing a bid . This is a wonderful 29 year old classic car and it will be sold " as is " and " where is " and without a warranty . I did upload many more pictures . Please check them out thoroughly , as they can describe the car better than i can .  Thank you for looking at our auction ...

New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe spied in revealing state of dress

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

During a product briefing earlier this year, Mercedes-Benz told us that 2013 would be the "year of the S-Class." Makes sense, too, since the flagship Mercedes is so very close to finally showing its production-ready face. But the high-tech saloon isn't the only S-Class to talk about this year - quite the contrary. Seen here in decidedly revealing camouflage, the new S-Class Coupe will be joining its four-door compadre in the not-too-distant future, as well.
When it launches, the S-Class Coupe will officially do away with the CL-Class nomenclature. This doesn't come as a huge shock. After all, when the new E-Class coupe and convertible were launched, it officially marked the end of the long-running CLK-Class designation.
Thanks to the interesting camouflage seen here, we have a very good glimpse at how the S-Class Coupe will look when all of the molding and swirly paper are peeled off. Rakish body lines pulled from the CLS-Class meet a much more dynamic front fascia. Out back, there are horizontal taillamps rather than the vertical units used on the current car, and the whole package seems very svelte. Our spy photographer even posits that this will be "the best-looking car from Mercedes-Benz in ages."

2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 still lights our fire

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

The current Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG may be in the autumn of its years, but it's still one of our very favorite sport sedans. Ever. Yes, its paddle-shift transmission may not always follow orders, but with stupendous levels of thrust from its charismatic naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8, ebullient rear-wheel-drive dynamics and that noise, we frankly don't care that it's getting on a bit.
As a sendoff of sorts for the current generation, Mercedes-Benz has just introduced a new Edition 507 model at the Geneva Motor Show, with 507 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque - an increase of 56 horses over the standard car. Mercedes credits the substitution of low-mass internals from the SLS AMG gullwing for the power bump, a tactic shared with the AMG Development Package upgrade that has been subsumed by this Edition 507. 0-60 is quoted at 4.1 seconds and top speed at 174 mph.
The Edition 507 borrows its aluminum hood from the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe, along with spidery new 19-inch wheels in either titanium gray finish or matte black with shiny rim flanges. As seen on our gallery car above, a sports striping package is also featured, as are glossy black grille, daytime running lamps, spoiler and mirror caps.

Mercedes-AMG GT attacks Circuit of the Americas

Fri, 12 Sep 2014

Mercedes-Benz is having a banner year with its Formula One team. Through 2014, the constructor has 454 championship points; ahead of its nearest competitor (Red Bull-Renault) by a margin of 182 tally marks. We're sure they can almost taste the champagne.
It's fitting then, and a little big cocky in a good way, that Mercedes has released a video of its newest sports car at an F1 venue. In this case, the car is the lovely Mercedes-AMG GT S, and the racetrack is Austin's Circuit of the Americas.
Having seen the official photo set and scratched the surface of the technical specifications earlier this week, we're excited to finally hear the thing run. As you might guess, the deployment of 503 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque from the twin-turbo V8 is a motivating experience. Crank up your volume, and hit that play button. (Oh, and Mercedes shot the thing in 4K, too, so those of you with expensive televisions/monitors should take heed to the settings.)
