Rare 2 door in great condition, no dents, priced to sell, clean title with tags paid until Aug 2014, working odometer reads approx.159,575. Original Calif. blue plates. Recent major service including valve adjustment, fuel filters, fuel lines, valve cover gasket, complete brake inspection with new brake fluid & lines cleaned. Good tires, even wear, no alignment issues, no suspension problems. AC does not work, only heat & fresh air, starts right up and ready to go. Electric sunroof works but needs help. Two front windows work but the small rear windows do not operate properly and I leave them in place. Dash has cracks. Instruments & all lights work except, clock is not accurate. Windshield gasket should be replaced but not leaking, just old and has silicone filler. Upholstery re-done in the front & some in back, not leather & has some wrinkles on the back rear seat. Two stage gold paint is less than 30 days old and was the original color.
Mechanic inspection and work completed by mechanic at my son's shop (Exotic Line Motors).
If you know the sound of a good diesel engine this will make you very happy but realize this is not the turbo model, if you know the sound & feel of a good transmission you will be very satisfied (no slips or harsh shifting). California car purchased locally & I was told I am the 3rd owner but have no records to verify. Prior owner had no records so I had my mechanic go through the car to make sure all was in good working condition. I believe the odometer is accurate and has not been tampered with. I purchased this car recently for the purpose to re-sell and hold the clean signed off pink slip with Calif. tag paid until May 2014. Car is driven daily and miles will go up daily at least 15 miles. Does have a slight oil leak, may be the oil pan gasket. Front windshield could use a new gasket.
Please call me if any questions or concerns. I prefer communication and discussion in order to make sure you are a serious Buyer and you get all the questions answered (no surprises).
My phone is always on: 619 920-7272 Henry
PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT WIN THIS AUCTION WITHOUT THE REQUIRED DEPOSIT, NO DEPOSIT WILL NOT WIN YOU THE CAR (I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ISSUE & A FLAKE BUYER).
Clean signed pink slip in hand. Please note that the car is advertised locally and is subject to prior sale.

Race Recap: 2013 Japanese Grand Prix flips several scripts [spoilers]
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Japan's Suzuka circuit is a great track that all the drivers love, but it doesn't usually provide the most thrilling, head-to-head racing. Where it does excel, however, is with surprises and "What just happened there?!" moments, and this year it was no different.
It started with Mark Webber in his Infiniti Red Bull Racing out-qualifying his teammate Sebastian Vettel for the first time this year. They were followed closely by Lewis Hamilton in the first Mercedes-AMG Petronas, the still-solid Romain Grosjean again outdoing teammate Kimi Räikkönen, Felipe Massa racing for another seat in Formula One and putting his Ferrari in fifth, then Nico Rosberg in the second Mercedes, Nico Hülkenberg in the first Sauber, Fernando Alonso in the second Ferrari, and Räikkönen continuing to do himself no favors by qualifying tenth.
For the second year in a row, the lights going out was the cue to start the first corner action...
Maybach lost upwards of $500k on each vehicle sold
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Daimler is shuttering Maybach in 2013 after seven years of production. In that time, the company's ultra-ultra-luxury arm managed to sell just 3,000 units, and CAR reports Daimler lost somewhere around $500,000 on each and every one of them.
Even with a ludicrous price tag of over $370,000 for an "entry" Maybach 57, the brand couldn't quite recoup the dizzying $1.33 billion Daimler poured into it since its (re)inception. Rumors ignited over a possible tie up with Aston Martin that would have resulted in a range of new and attractive models, but Daimler has instead decided to snuff out Maybach altogether.
We can hardly blame them.
Russia gives its Olympic medalists new Mercedes
Thu, 27 Feb 2014Russian medalists at the recently concluded Sochi Winter Olympics are being rewarded quite handsomely for their service to the Motherland. In addition to the $120,000 being handed out for each gold medal, the $76,000 being awarded for slivers and $52,000 given to bronze winners, now word has come out that each of Russia's medalists will be gifted a new Mercedes-Benz.
As with the prize amounts, the type of Mercedes offered was based on what sort of medal was won. Gold medalists got a new GL-Class, silver medalists were given an ML and bronze medalists were treated to a GLK. As prices for Mercedes are higher in Russia, the cheapest model, the GLK, was the equivalent of $59,500, according to The Moscow Times. The cars were handed out by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, pictured above with figure skating medalist Julia Lipnitskaia.
"I was a bit shocked at the car I was given," Anton Shipulin, a member of the gold-medal biathlon relay team, told RIA-Novosti. "Of course I knew what kind of model it would be, but I didn't totally believe it." For athletes not old enough to drive, like 15-year-old Lipnitskaia, their Mercedes will come complete with a driver.
