I am selling my baby this is my dream car that my new wife says has to go. I just had the whole car taken apart and media blasted and painted Lamborghini orange with a beautiful flake in the clear with 3 coats of clear the car looks wet and is amazing. The interior is in great shape as I have replaced almost all of it to make it a black interior except the seats which are not pictured they are brown leather that someone tried to die black but it is not a good job so I was going to have them redone in black leather and the carpet which is brown and someone also tried to die it but once again not a good job so I was going to replace it with black. all the seals for the car will be included with the car over the next couple of days I will put the rest of it together and take better pics. The headlight covers will be included with the car I ordered new ones and I will have them painted to match. This car is a roller perfect for what ever swap you want or put back a 2 rotor what ever you choose so this car has no engine ecu main wire harness or trans but I have all of these as I have more than one fd so if you want them we can talk about it but they are not offered in this listing. I am selling the car for what I have in paint and body work alone which is 7500.00 and trust me you wont find a cleaner or straiter body all the paint was house of kolors paint with new front bumper 99 spec front aero kouki rear tail lights. Fiat reconsidering Mazda-based Alfa Romeo roadster? [w/poll]

With apologies to Job (he has gone through a lot, after all), that's how things are looking at the Italian automaker - whether it's the promise of new products or its impending return to the North American market. But it's especially true when it comes to new roadsters.
While Alfa Romeo is expected to unveil the 4C Spider at the Geneva Motor Show this week, reports are now suggesting that its other roadster project is being called into question. That project is a joint venture between Fiat and Mazda, which was set to produce a version of its next MX-5 Miata as an Alfa Romeo, and was even changing the design to accommodate Alfa's requirements.
Now it appears, however, that the whole project in doubt. The problem seems to stem from Sergio Marchionne's pronouncements that, as long as he's in charge, there won't be an Alfa Romeo built outside of Italy.
Mazda CX-5 in auto-brake accident on Japanese test drive
Thu, 14 Nov 2013As we slowly march towards a world where our cars will drive for us, there will be mishaps. Systems will act up, not behave has intended or we'll simply forget to turn them on. We all remember when Volvo tested the S60's City Safety system. Now Mazda has had an issue of its own.
During a test of a Mazda CX-5's Smart City Brake Support on a dealership lot in Japan, a prospective customer and a dealership employee were injured when they hit a urethane barrier used for testing the system. According to Bloomberg, which spoke with the Saitama Prefectural Police, the impact with the barrier left the customer with an injured neck while the dealership employee suffered a fractured arm. Considering the injuries, we imagine this wasn't a small barrier.
"For any safety function, it's impossible to be 100-percent free of accidents. These technical functions aren't always the easiest to understand," IHS Automotive auto parts analyst, Hiroshi Ataka told Bloomberg.
2014 Mazda6 Skyactiv-D Wagon
Thu, 21 Feb 2013This was sort of a quirky surprise drive opportunity. I've been over here in Italy for a while now, and Mazda Italia contacted me seemingly out of the blue to drive test some version of the Mazda6 with a diesel engine. Supremo. The Mazda6 is a sexy everyday beast and I have been digging their SkyActiv-D engines for a while now. Very spirited units.
My contact phones me the day of, and says he can come by with the car, and then we'll head off to some sort of special spot for dynamics testing and technical conversation. Nice deal, say I.
My guy Ernesto pulls up outside of the house and - lo and behold - it's a dang Mazda6 station wagon with the very most recent 2.2-liter SkyActiv-D motor good for 148 horsepower and healthy 280 pound-feet of torque. The wee four-banger with 14.0:1 compression ratio hauls this 3,260-pound wagon around with the best of them. A decent 0-to-60-mph time of 8.7 seconds, too.
