Selling my 2008 Mazda 6 2.3l 4 cylinder due to purchase of new car. This car is in good condition with less than normal wear and tear. Paint is in very good condition, just some light hair line surface scratches on the rear bumper. I have owned the car for 5 years (actually my wife has), and it hasn't given us a problem.ONLY H-WAY MILEAGE,ONE DRIVER,ON THE ROAD ONLY AFTER 7 P.M EVERY EVENING FOR NIGHT SHIFT ,NO TRAFFIC,NO STOPS AND GO.NORMAL MAINTENANCE DONE, OIL CHANGES AT EVERY 3 K., NO PETS,NO SMOKING,NO CHILDREN EVER.Super reliable and great car, when the right driving we see over 30+mpg highway. Needs nothing, buy now and drive without any maintenance needed.I am being very honest with the flaws and stating if there is anything wrong with the car, if you have any questions feel free to ask. This car is still being used so mileage will go up very slowly. I have the right to remove the auction at anytime, since it is being listed locally also, and the buyer assumes all responsibility once purchasing the car, and it is being sold as is. Thank you Will help deliver at a small cost if need be, and will help ship also if purchasing from a distance. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN READING MY ADD.

2016 Mazda6 gets a facelift in LA
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show is a busy one for Mazda, as the Japanese brand shows off not only its all-new CX-3, but a facelifted Mazda6 sedan.
The 2016 sedan has been nipped and tucked to better fit in with newer members of the brand's range, including the aforementioned CX-3, as well as the Mazda3 and MX-5 Miata.
The grille's horizontal slats are now trimmed in chrome, while the brand's chrome wing motif on the fascia is larger and more prominent, particularly where it feeds into the headlights.

White House clears way for NHTSA to mandate vehicle black boxes
Fri, 07 Dec 2012At present, over 90 percent of all new vehicles sold in the United States today are equipped with event data recorders, more commonly known as black boxes. If the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gets its way, that already high figure will swell to a full 100 percent in short order.
Such automotive black boxes have been in existence since the 1990s, and all current Ford, General Motors, Mazda and Toyota vehicles are so equipped. NHTSA has been attempting to make these data recorders mandatory for automakers, and according to The Detroit News, the White House Office of Management Budget has just finished reviewing the proposal, clearing the way. Now NHTSA is expected to draft new legislation to make the boxes a requirement.
One problem with current black boxes is that there's no set of standards for automakers to follow when creating what bits of data are recorded, and for how long or in what format it is stored. In other words, one automaker's box is probably not compatible with its competitors.
