Vehicle Description and Condition:

Up for sale is a One Owner, Car fax certified, 2004 Mazda 3s with 5speed manual transmission. This Mazda only has 64500 miles on it and it runs and drives perfect. This Mazda hatchback comes fully loaded with leather seats, power windows and doors, sunroof, in dash CD changer.

Body on this hatchback is in very good condition with only few visible scratches on the left quarter panel and left rear door, also few minor scratches on the hood, (please see pictures of all scratches). Front and rear bumpers are in perfect condition, no dents or scratches. Original Winning Blue Mica paint on this Mazda is in perfect condition. No visible rust spots on any parts of this vehicle. The fuel door has been changed to a different color to give this car a sport look. All wheels are in good condition with tires that only have 1500 miles on them, all tires are matching. All lights function perfect, and have no damage.

The interior of this Mazda is in like new condition. Black leather seats are in perfect condition with no rips or tears on them. All door panels and dash board are in perfect condition, black carpet is clean and free of any stains. All of the power equipment work perfect as well, AC is Ice cold, AM/FM radio with 6 disc CD changer works perfect, sunroof works fine. 160hp 2.3L I-4 engine is in perfect working condition with no oil leaks. 5speed with O/D manual transmission is in perfect working condition it shifts through all gears smoothly. Left side ball joint was, two stabilizer links were replaced two weeks ago, also fresh oil put in. Mazda recalling 88k vehicles for ECU glitch

Need a break from news about the General Motors ignition switch recall? This Mazda recall should serve as a nice change of pace. It involves 88,000 cars across the globe, and focuses on the brand's three most recent (and important) models - the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5.
The issue rests with Mazda's new i-ELOOP regenerative braking system. Apparently there's a problem with the ECU program that monitors whether a capacitor in the regen system is working. Acceleration is affected, and in severe cases, the engine could stall. There have been no mention of accidents or injuries due to the issue, and the glitch itself can be cured by an ECU reflash.
As i-ELOOP is a fairly new system for Mazda, particularly in the US, the total number of affected models is rather low, with just 6,500 US cars affected. Europe is hit hardest, with 38,000 models while Mazda's home market of Japan adds 27,600 cars and crossovers. Affected models were built between October 2012 and January 2014.

Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota

The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands

Riding a motorcycle through high traffic can be a stressful experience. And we don't even want to imagine what it's like to have to actually pursue someone on a motorcycle. Fortunately, we don't have to. Officer Troy Gurley of the Florence, Alabama police force recently attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver, 24-year-old Justin Sanders, figured he could use his Mazda3 to outrun the bike cop. Turns out, not so much.
Gurley pursued Sanders for nearly five minutes as the Mazda driver ran stop signs, swerved through traffic and raced through residential neighborhoods, but the perpetrator couldn't shake the tenacious and experienced rider. Other units soon joined the pursuit, and Sanders thought it best to leave the protection of his car to attempt to flee on foot. From there, it didn't take officers long to apprehend him.
