I am offering an incredible Lincoln Town Car with the Cartier package. The car is really in amazing condition . The car has 177000 miles but the previous owner was obsessed with keeping maintenance matters current. The car will come with a folder full of receipts attesting to the money spent on replacing front suspension pars, air conditioning, and even a NEW[not rebuilt] transmission within the last 50000 miles. Basically, whatever the car needed was done.
Today the exterior of the car looks nearly new and the interior leather is nearly flawless. There is one small spot on a rear seat panel that had some type of repair, but that is it. Mechanically, all systems function as they should with no know issues or needs. You just can't find a vehicle in this condition with all the luxury for the price I am asking.
My son bought the car from an elderly relative with the thought of taking it on campus at a university, but that would be a terrible misuse of this fine automobile. He needs a "beater' that he doesn't need to worry about getting dinged up or dented. So, the car is being offered at reasonable BUY it NOW of $4500 and an opening bid of $2000.
Of course the car is being sold on an "as is" basis with no warranty expressed or implied. The winning bidder must send a $500 deposit thru Paypal and the balance to be paid with cash in person or a Cashier's Check. In the case of a Cashier's Check the car and title will not be released until the check has cleared my bank.

Matthew McConaughey dusts off his Lincoln Lawyer jacket [w/videos]

Easygoing Texan Matthew McConaughey has enjoyed a career renaissance recently with critically acclaimed roles in Dallas Buyers Club and True Detective, and the actor has just signed a multi-year deal with Lincoln to become the luxury brand's spokesperson. The first ads starring McConaughey should hit televisions and the internet soon.
McConaughey's campaign has his pitching starting out with the company's pivotal new 2015 Lincoln MKC compact crossover. "Lincoln is an iconic, American brand and I like where they are heading with their transformation," he said in the announcement of the deal. The appears to be really throwing some money into these ads, too. Not only has it hired A-list talent in front of the camera, Nicolas Winding Refn, best known for Drive, is directing the spots.
Of course, this won't be McConaughey's first noteworthy ride in a Lincoln. Back in 2011, he starred in The Lincoln Lawyer, a legal thriller about at attorney would did business out of a 1980s Town Car. The MKC should certainly prove to be a much better driver than that.

Lincoln - pardon us, the Lincoln Motor Company - assures us that Ford is committed to its success. The awkwardness of the statement (which feels vaguely like your mother telling you that she loves and supports you regardless of what everyone else thinks) was hard to escape when we recently spent a few days with the all-new second-generation 2013 Lincoln MKZ.
Launched earlier this year at the 2012 New York Auto Show, the MKZ is a midsize premium sedan that shares platforms with the Ford Fusion (also all-new for 2013). The sedan's primary competitors, according to Lincoln, include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Cadillac CTS and Lexus ES Series sedans - each an established, accomplished player.
Lincoln MKX Concept announces impending launch in China

Set for a very important global debut at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, we're going to have to see this conceptualized version of the third-generation MKX in person before we can draw any real conclusions on the effectiveness of its design.
One of the things Lincoln will need to do to succeed is deliver something to customers that's unique to the brand's vehicles, which are exclusively rebadged models from parent company Ford. We're not sure this is going to be distinctive enough.
Unlike its last new vehicle, the Navigator, the work done on the MKX is smooth and refined. The stance of the vehicle, with its 21-inch wheels, is aggressive enough. Viewed from the profile, the overhangs appear rather short, while character lines keep it from looking slabsided. In front, we might be witnessing the cleanest interpretation yet of Lincoln's twin grilles. The headlights are slim and stylish, and we're digging the shape and style of the mirrors, which feature integrated turn signals that outline the mirror cap.
