You are looking at my fathers 2000 lincoln continetal that was purchased new by him. He has passed away and the car is now in my name, so the car is officially a 2 owner car, but really it has been a 1 owner car. I have put less than 1000 miles on it since taking posession in Sept. 2012.
This car has the original paint, has never been wrecked and is in very, very good condition. There are a few minor parking lot scratches on the plastic part of the bumpers, thats it !! It has new tires, brakes, and battery all in the time I have had it. This car runs and drives perfectly. you will have a very hard time finding a 2000 Continental in better condition. If you are interested in this type of car, at least look at this one before you buy, you will not be disappointed.
This car is for sale outside of e-bay and can be removed at anytime.

Ford recalling 850,000 cars and SUVs for airbag issues
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Ford has announced a major recall of 850,000 vehicles from model years 2013 and 2014 due to a problem with the "restraints control module."
According to Ford, a short circuit could develop in the module, causing the airbag warning light to illuminate. In more severe cases, dependent on where the short develops, the airbags and seatbelt pre-tensioners may not work in the event of an accident. The problems can be more wide-ranging than that, too, as systems that rely on information from the control module, such as the stability control can be affected.
With 850,000 vehicles affected, it's no surprise that some of Ford's volume leaders are covered. That includes the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ sedans, as well as the incredibly recall-prone Escape and the C-Max MPV.

Lincoln was never a brand known for making sports cars. In fact it hasn't offered anything with less than four doors since the demise of the Mark VIII, and that was hardly what you'd call "performance oriented". But that doesn't mean that Ford's luxury marque never toyed with the idea.
In 1955 Ford delivered a Lincoln chassis (along with a 200-horsepower V8 engine and four-speed automatic transmission) to Carrozzeria Boano, an Italian coachbuilder that had just branched off from Ghia the year before. The resulting orange coupe you see here was named after Indianapolis and was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show. And while its detailing may have been divisive, the overall shape certainly caught the eye.
