You are looking at a restored customized 1965 Lincoln Continental. original 460 engine with 70k miles. very strong running engine. Transmission rebuilt less than 300 miles ago. all original factory options, also have factory manual original to the vehicle. below is a small list of items tastefully done to the vehicle. all power options work, even the antenna! power windows, all of it! If you want to own the best Lincoln around this is the one. I have owned Ferrari's, Bentleys, Porsche, you name it, and I get more looks and thumbs up in this car than any of those. Cranberry paint with Gold flake All chrome stripped and refinished all decals refinished Dayton wire wheels with vogue tires in like new condition interior totally redone with Alligator inserts (tastefully done) Hardwood floors. carpet redone, headliner redone in suede. SNL, Jim Carrey late to the Lincoln MKC ad spoof party
Mon, 27 Oct 2014At this point, making fun of the Lincoln MKC ads starring Matthew McConaughey is getting pretty old, though apparently Lincoln loves it. The commercials have been airing for over a month, but Conan O'Brien, Ellen DeGeneres and even South Park have all taken their swipes at the spots with the smooth-talking actor monologuing about his new luxury crossover. Saturday Night Live might have finally killed the joke in its recent episode featuring Jim Carrey.
The problem certainly isn't that Carrey does a bad job in the spoofs, and he actually pulls off a pretty good McConaughey impression. They start out as pretty direct mimicry and slowly evolve into the absurd, including cracks at McConaughey's acting career and the way he rubs his thumb and finger together. Carrey certainly raises at least a chuckle at times, though.
However, the comedian's engaging performance can't take away from the fact that SNL has arriving to this mocking party pretty late in the game. The jokes just don't feel fresh anymore, so hopefully these ads put the final nails in the coffin for the riffs - at least until the next batch of Lincoln ads arrive.

Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.

Not long after I heard that Mark LaNeve, chief operating officer of Ford agency Team Detroit, was moving to take over direct operations of the New York ad agency Hudson Rouge for Lincoln, I heard that JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was ousted. The two events are connected.
