This car is a beast and has never died on me! This car will go to 200,00+ miles no prob! Goes 90+ on the highway smoothly. That being said, it is an older car and is not in pristine condition.
- Runs great. it does tend to lag going uphill...
- NO cracks in dash - interior in great shape for being almost 20 years old - has all rubber mats/knobs/switches/trays - everything
- sun roofs do not work - BUT THEY DO NOT LEAK! I got a quote of about $400 or so to get them working again, just haven't gotten to it yet…
- there is ripping in the leather of the bottom part of the 2 front seats - top part of seats are good - no rips. have custom bottom covers on the 2 front seats
- back seats are good - no rips
- rear seats flip forward for a huge cargo space area
- has some small dents and dings - nothing major - no major accidents
- some stains on carpet in rear cargo area
Just take care of it and this car will last for many years!

Toyota and Land Rover took home the top brand honors in ALG's 2015 Residual Value Awards, which will be presented this week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Mazda CX-5 named Japan's Car of The Year, Subaru BR-Z wins "Special Award"
Mon, 03 Dec 2012The Mazda CX-5 stamped its Kodo design and SkyActiv technology authority all over the Japan Car of the Year awards, taking the top prize ahead of the Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT 86. It is Mazda's second victory in the last ten years, the 2005 MX-5 claiming the same trophy, and the fourth time the Hiroshima company has won.
The award is decided by 60 local "automotive experts and journalists," and open to any passenger car released in Japan from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012 that has sold more than 500 units. Each judge gets 25 votes, his or her top vote getting 10 points, the rest of the points being spread among the judge's choice for the next best four cars.
The second-place getters were the Toyobaru twins with 318 votes, the surprise being they didn't beat or get any closer to the crossover. The Subaru BRZ did claw some mojo back, earning the Special Award given to cars that have made "an exceptional impact." The BMW 3 Series was third overall and won the Import Car of the Year award with plenty of room between it and the second place Range Rover Evoque.
Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.
