Belmar, New Jersey, United States
Hello everyone. Up for sale is my 2004 Arancio Borealis 6 Speed Manual Lamborghini Gallardo. I have tastefully finished this car, and all you need to do is enjoy it. I don't think you'll find a cleaner gallardo with up to date maintenance, story free with all the tasteful mods already done. My Gallardo also doesn't need a clutch like most the ones for sale out there ALL PPIs are welcome! I have spent 35K+ into this car over the past few years. I am simply selling this car to make the purchase of my second home a little smoother. I do not need to sell this car nor am I in a rush. I am located in New Jersey along the shore. Pictures were just taken and how the car currently sits. Sorry for the crappy cell phone quality pictures & glare! I encourage anyone to stop by and take a look at the car. Sorry no joy rides. I can assist with shipping, however you will need to set everything up on your end first. Any questions, please send me a message through ebay and I'll reply with my contact information!!! All maintenance are up to date. The car needs nothing. Just completed my 30K major service completed a few weeks ago at Corsa Motors: Corsa Motors (201) 569-0065 at the end of May 2014. Feel free to talk to Cosmos if you have any questions on the car. The car was maintained by Stephen @ Arena motors over the years. No expense was spared. All service records available upon request. Runway Rumble: Nissan GT-R, Ducati 1098 and Lamborghini Reventon Roadster battle it out
Tue, 29 Jan 2013One 2.5-mile runway, three different ways to take off: a Ducati 1098, a tuned Nissan GT-R with 580 horsepower and a launch control upgrade, and a Lamborghini Reventon Roadster. You'd naturally expect the Ducati to assert it's lightweight, high-horsepower authority in these matters, but with more than two miles to run, the ride that gets the jump at the line isn't always the one that gets the win.
That comes in especially handy for the Lamborghini, which suffers from a bad start in the first race and just looks plain ordinary in the second, until it finds redemption. You can see how it all goes down in the video below.
Lamborghini to celebrate 50th Anniversary with new model
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Lamborghini is planning to roll out a new car for the brand's 50th anniversary. Automotive News Europe reports the Italian automaker will unveil a special one-off machine to commemorate the date next year. CEO Stepahn Winkelmann has been tight-lipped about the vehicle, saying coyly, "It will not be a revival or a retro." Fortunately, with 2013 right around the corner, we shouldn't have to wait long to see what Lamborghini has up its sleeves for the special car.
The company has other big plans for the celebration and has reportedly invited owners to ship their cars to Milan, where they will then parade through Tuscany, Rome and Bologna before arriving at the Lamborghini factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
It's a good time for a party. Lamborghini has seen strong sales through 2012 despite the faltering European economy, and the Aventador coupe and roadster each have an 18-month waiting list.
This is Lamborghini's evil-looking new racecar
Tue, 29 Jan 2013As a part of the festivities to launch its Aventador Roadster model, Lamborghini has announced that is returning to racing with the new Gallardo GT3 FL2 and its in-house race team, Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The new race-spec Gallardo, co-developed with Reiter Engineering, will initially compete in motorsports series such as the Italian GT3 Championship, Asia Le Mans Series and the single-make Blancpain Super Trofeo Championship. Additional series will be announced later including races in the US next year - possibly as a part of the new Grand-Am/American Le Mans Series series.
Reiter Engineering has been building racing Lamborghinis since 2000, but this will be the first time it has worked in cooperation with the automaker to create a car.Other than the obvious aero changes such as the front splitter, rear diffuser and massive rear wing, the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 FL2 also received some weight reduction, better brakes and engine cooling and, surprisingly, improved fuel consumption. The car dropped about 55 pounds compared to a standard Gallardo, and since it was designed to compete in endurance races, it was given "24-hour" brakes, although we don't actually know what changes were made.
Deliveries of the Gallardo GT3 FL2 will begin in March with a starting price of 320,000 euros, or around $430,000. Scroll down for more details about Lambo's newest racer.
