This is a 2004 Jeep Unlimited 4x4. It is automatic. The jeep is in outstanding condition. It has AC, CD, 12000lb winch (I took the pics before I installed the winch), 4 inch lift and 35 inch mud terrain tires. It has a brand new Mopar soft top (not an after market top). The paint is less than 2 years old. It was painted inside and out with base coat clear coat. It looks amazing. No scratched or dents. It drives great. It does not smoke, leak or make any funny noises. Everything works. The interior looks great too. The jeeps flooring has been rhino lined for looks and durability. No rips or tears in the seats. 4 wheel drive system works great. There are two issues with the title. It was in a small accident. The previous owner hit a tree, damaging the driver side fender and hood. No other damage and the title is clear. The previous owner also checked the wrong box on the back of the title so it now reads not actual mileage. It is actual mileage. The Auto Check report shows the mileage is correct. Millionth Jeep Wrangler JK to roll off line this morning
Fri, 17 May 2013According to a report on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page and one fairly grainy image of the production line, at around 11:00AM Eastern this morning, the one-millionth Jeep Wrangler JK will roll out of the company's Toledo assembly plant.
The third-generation or "JK" Jeep Wrangler has been around since the 2007 model year, and has obviously been more popular than ever. With a greater than ever number of trim levels, two-door and four-door Unlimited models and hardy off-roading Rubicon packages, the JK offers more to choose from than ever for those looking for something in a traditional Jeep. In fact, with the modern 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powering it, the 2012 model year saw more than 140k Wrangers sold here in the US; the best-ever figure for the model.
With a model refresh due out for the Wrangler in 2015 (along with the likely addition of a diesel engine option), we expect that sales will continue to roll right along, too.
Chrysler recalling nearly 141k vehicles over electrical woes
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Software glitches that randomly illuminate warning lights and cause instrument cluster blackouts are forcing Chrysler to recall 140,800 vehicles, The Detroit News reports. The automaker is recalling 132,000 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokees, 91,559 of which are in the US. In addition to the Jeep recalls, Chrysler is adding 10,800 2014 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks to the list for similar problems.
Chrysler reportedly says, "Both events occurred infrequently and appeared to resolve themselves by tuning the vehicle's ignition off and then on."
Engineers discovered a problem with the anti-lock-braking system software that causes the instrument cluster display of the Grand Cherokee to illuminate warning lights and black out - even its ABS and electronic stability control systems are affected. To fix the Jeeps, Chrysler will update the vehicle's software.
