Thanks for reviewing my listing!  It is the last year of production for a great Jeep! I am selling my Cherokee that is in very good shape for a 12 year old SUV. The interior is in excellent condition. The paint is in great condition with a minor parking lot tap in the front passenger door. I maintain my cars to a very high standard. Synthetic oil with Lucas additive. New tires with around 10K miles, All typical Jeep issues have been addressed. The following is a list of parts replaced in the last 5 months, front and rear brakes, drums discs, brake hardware, front axle universals, Both front bearings (high quality), upper and lower control arms, track arm, HD steering stabilizer, sway bar links, sway bar bushing, 4 Monroe-Matic shocks, cam position sensor, valve cover gasket, 72 month battery (105.00), serpintine belt, radiator, radiator cap and a few I forgot I am sure. You are more than welcome to have the Jeep taken to any mechanic to be checked out. I have my cars oil undercoated every year. I am relocating and trying to reduce down to one car. This Jeep rides smooth and has many years of good service left. If it does not sell I will take it with me!
*** Autocheck lists 4 owners???  They count the lease company and the Dealer that purchased the Jeep at the Wellesley Mass. BMW auction as owners. I am the Second owner operator. Thank you For looking!

China orders Jeep to investigate Wrangler fire risk

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

It's been some time since we've heard anything about fires related to the Jeep Wrangler (foreign or domestic), but it sounds like the go-anywhere SUV could be in hot water once again in China. Bloomberg is reporting that the Chinese government is ordering Jeep to investigate the matter and, in the meantime, also recommending Wrangler owners to not drive their vehicles in "extreme conditions" due to a "relatively high risk" of catching on fire.
There is no indication as to how many vehicles or which model years are affected, but the previous fire problems in both the US and China - which led to investigations but no recalls - were traced back to automatic transmission fluid leaks. The article, however, does not say what the potential problem is this time around as Jeep has not released a comment on the matter. The official notice, in Chinese, can be found here.

Chrysler uses Super Bowl spots to honor troops, farmers

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

How do you follow up such revered and successful ads as Chrysler's last two Super Bowl commercials? Imported from Detroit and Halftime in America should be given credit for giving the automaker's public perception a complete overhaul after its rescue from the brink with taxpayer money. What next, then?
We just found out during Super Bowl XLVII. This year Chrysler went with two commercials, one for Jeep and the other Ram. The two-minute-long Jeep commercial, called Whole Again, is narrated by Oprah Winfrey and presented as an open letter to the service men and women of America, simply expressing admiration for what they do - poignant message coming from a company whose history is so entwined with that of the military's.
The Ram commercial, called Farmer, honors the agricultural backbone of this country. Its soundtrack is a speech entitled "So God Made a Farmer" given by the famous radio broadcaster Paul Harvey, which plays over a slideshow of original photography commissioned by Ram. The images, of course, focus on farming and the people who do it for a living, and there's a few Ram trucks in there, as well.
