2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars

Year:2000 Mileage:183987
Location:

Troy, Michigan, United States

Troy, Michigan, United States

2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0L.

183,000 Miles and about 10,000 on the new rebuilt motor, have receipts. Also have receipts for shocks done, tires, brakes, etc. All oil changes have been completed as they should every 3,000 Miles.

Jeep is in great shape for its age, runs great, drives great, shifts smooth. 4X4 Works great.

Has nice wider tires than stock, and rims. Has towing package, power windows, doors, locks, mirrors. Has keyless entry. Comes with 2 keys and 2 key fobs. 1 needs programming.

Jeep Has some rust, see pictures. The rocker panels, have been painted with Plasti-dip to cover some of the rust, and there is more over the rear fenders above the rear tires.

The interior is clean, has the cassette am/fm radio. I love this jeep but i need a full size pickup for my business, so this has to go.

There is a popping sound sometimes only when the wheel is turned left, it doesn't happen all the time, just some of the time, doesn't affect the performance of the jeep at all. The alignment is a little off, however the steering is nice and tight, and doesn't feel loose.

Also, has a small dent in the back bumper. Minor.

Also the truck has been tinted with 20% on the driver and passenger and 50% on the full windshield. The decals on the windows will be removed. Some of the pictures are without tints are a little older, however the truck hasn't changed.

Overall the truck is in great shape, and wish i didn't have to sell it, because the engine in these jeeps are bulletproof with proper maintenance. I have a lot of receipts for a lot of different things done to the jeep in the past couple years.

Local pickup to troy Michigan, or shipping if arranged by the buyer. I will give you my phone number upon purchase, and we can set up a time and place to meet. Clean Title!

Any more questions feel free to ask!

Radical 2016 Jeep Wrangler suggested by job listings?

Fri, 31 May 2013

With most inside the industry expecting the next-generation Jeep Wrangler to arrive for the 2016 model year, it makes sense that the automaker would be looking for some choice candidates to to fill program openings as the off-roader goes through its development. A recent ad on Chryslercareers.com suggests to some that the lightweight Wrangler Stitch Concept, revealed just two months ago and shown above, provides some clues about the off-road icon's next iteration.
According to Automotive News, the job descriptions - which don't name the model specifically - hint that the next-generation Wrangler will benefit from a serious diet. The ads appear to seek those familiar with advanced high-strength steels, hinting that lightweight aluminum body panels may appear on the 4x4. In addition, there are suggestions that Jeep may fit the Wrangler replacement with air suspension, as seen on the Ram and Grand Cherokee, to retain ample off-road clearance yet lower that chassis to improve aerodynamics at highway speeds. The job postings reportedly also lend credence to the idea of a diesel Wrangler.
It seems every bit of the next-generation Wrangler is up for review, as it will be the first time this iconic model is redesigned under Fiat ownership. Questions remain whether or not the Jeep will retain its clip-down hood, easy-to-remove door pins and folding front windshield - loyalists expect them, but fuel economy and safety standards may crimp their cases for survival.

YouTube tallies votes for this year's top five Super Bowl spots [w/video]

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

When we asked you to tell us which of this year's 16 car-themed Super Bowl commercials you liked best, you chose the Farmer commercial from Chrysler Group, advertising the Ram trucks, over Audi's Prom commercial in second place. Turns out the voters in YouTube's Ad Blitz poll agreed, voting the same commercial to the number one spot from among the field commercials in every category.
From there, however, they went in a totally different direction. Budweiser's The Clydesdales spot came second, Samsung's The Next Big Thing took third. The Jeep Whole Again ad scored fourth in the YouTube poll, fifth in our poll of auto commercials, and the Hyundai Team spot got fifth from the YouTubers, but ninth in our poll.
The voting results don't match up with the viewing numbers, though - while Farmer has more than 13 million views, The Next Big Thing is well beyond 21 million. You can read the press release below and see all five spots, lined up for you, one more time.

Jeep Liberty replacement takes shape

Wed, 16 Jan 2013

Now that the Liberty has left us for greener pastures, it's time to start looking into the future of the midsize Jeep model. The next all-new vehicle for the off-road brand will be the SUV you see here, effectively replacing the Liberty, and not necessarily carrying on with that name.
From the sides, the prototype you see here sort of looks like a miniature version of the handsome Grand Cherokee, albeit with a bit more in the way of body sculpting. Up front, the seven-slat grille will be front and center, with completely revised headlamp designs that are reportedly angular and sweep well into the front fenders (you can sort of see what we're talking about in the side profile). That doesn't sound very Jeep-like, but we'll reserve judgment until we, you know, see the thing.
The bigger question with the Liberty replacement will be whether or not its off-road chops will be up to snuff. After all, the two previous generations of Liberty models were body-on-frame traditional SUVs, whereas this new Jeep rides on a larger version of the Dodge Dart platform.
