A gorgeous black w/black leather interior XJ8. 2006 (avoid those issues w/ the 04 and 05's). On 19" chrome sports (fairly rare). Has full size spare to match as well. Navigaton, heated leather seats front and rear. 35% window tint just installed about a year ago that has a lifetime warranty! That means bubbling, tears anything, you take the receipt to a llumar tint installer and they replace it for free! Anyways I can answer any questions you have. Great car, great mpg, no issues, oil always changed on time or sooner than needed. Never had any issues, made multiple 600 mile round trips in this cat and she handles it like a dream with ~30mpg too! Tires were replaced in October in 2012. I have all service records from previous owner an myself. I have never had any issues with this car. Car has a few touch up spots, as well as few minor marks. Only noticeable when examining the car closely, I just like providing as much disclosure as possible with any and all potential buyers. Just passed 77k miles. Jaguar releases Desire short film starring F-Type and Damian Lewis
Wed, 24 Apr 2013After stoking the hype with a theatrical-style trailer, Jaguar has finally released the full-length version of its mini-movie, Desire, to help kick off the new 2014 Jaguar F-Type. Starring Homeland actor Damian Lewis across from the lovely Shannyn Sossamon, the film has been turned loose on YouTube after an initial debut at the Sundance London film and music festival.
Shot in Chile's rather breathtaking Atacama Desert, Desire is described by the producers as being "A story of betrayal, retribution, passion and greed." Lewis plays the lead role of Clark, a high-end car delivery guy (great work if you can get it), who runs into an unexpected, sexy mystery when shuttling the lovely F-Type to the middle of nowhere. Who could have guessed?

Chris Harris finds the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe rather drifty
Wed, 26 Mar 2014Our own Matt Davis may have called the new Jaguar F-Type R Coupe "one heady rascal," but our review was disappointingly short on drifting, tire smoke and general, English shenanigans. You know, the sort of things that Chris Harris from Drive excels at.
Actually, relative to Harris' other reviews, this one is rather serious. There's a good recap of the F-Type on the road, with Harris referencing the car's "great bottom" and "amazing ass," quite frequently. Surprisingly, Harris says the more powerful F-Type R is just "incrementally" faster than the 495-horsepower F-Type V8 S Convertible. Following the on-road portion, it's off to the track. You can probably predict what goes on there. Overall, aside from some quibbles, Harris has nothing but praise for the newest cat.

Entry-level Jaguar X-Type successor due in 2015, crossover a year later
Mon, 26 Nov 2012Jaguar's future product plans keep on slipping, slipping, slipping onto the internet, and the latest on it's entry-level luxury challenger is a 2015 due date. According to Automobile magazine, "most significant game-changer from Coventry" will be arriving on the same PLA platform that supports the Jaguar XJ and 2013 Range Rover. Kacher says the small sedan has already got the green light as codename X760, and will bow first as a four-door sedan, then as a crossover a year later.
This puts a date to a recent Autocar report that a small sedan and crossover were in the works. We've been getting reports of and concepts for a successor to the X-Type ever since Tata bought Jaguar - like the Bertone B99 concept last year, and this enthusiast concept more recently - since everyone knows it's what has to happen for "a new Jaguar" to succeed. We're looking forward to seeing what the English maker comes up with; if it remains true to form, it could be one of the few luxury competitors whose distinct model each look, well, truly distinct.
