Jaguar 1973 Series I Xj6 Sedan on 2040-cars

US $2,850.00
Year:1973 Mileage:103604
Location:

This XJ6 sedan is a fully matching number car and long survivor of New England. It is very late "72" - "73" XJ6. There is no rubber on the bumpers as you can see, it is just chrome. The car is pretty much complete the only things that seem to be missing are the jack and the spare tire. It came from the factory as maroon and it still is, but a faded maroon. The engine will run when I have fed fuel to the carburetors. The gas tanks got water in them and I wouldn't trust using them until they have been cleaned out. We have a clear title in hand. The car is obviously being sold needing restoration. This a great way to get into the Jaguar fever at a low price. We will ship anywhere in the world and can assist with your shipping arrangements. If you have any questions please email or call Dan at 001-781-630-0185. PLEASE NOTE: THE LISTING STATES A $500 DEPOSIT WITHIN 24 HOURS AND THE BALANCE TO BE PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION. WE WILL REPORT NON PAYING BUYERS TO EBAY.

Jaguar riffs on Super Bowl ad with new F-Type Coupe web short

Thu, 03 Apr 2014

Continuing the story of black hearts it began with its first Super Bowl commercial, Jaguar is roaring down the dark and oh-so-magnificently appealing road of villainy with a new spot featuring Tom Hiddleston. Using its new F-Type Coupe to demonstrate, the actor explains the salient features of the best - meaning, English - villains.
However, it's likely that even if you could manage the elegance, the tailored suit, the sharp wit and the distinct sound, you couldn't pull it all off nearly as well as Hiddleston. That doesn't mean you can't try, of course. Might we suggest starting with his excellent lesson in being properly villainous in the video below?

Jaguar XE spied flying over London

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

We only have a few hours to wait before Jaguar finally, and fully, unveils its oft-teased XE sedan. But the Internet is no respecter of secrets, as these very last-minute spy shots make clear.
Presumably being airlifted to its spectacular debut location near Earl's Court in London, the BMW 3-Series-fighting XE was captured mid-flight, and completely undisguised.
The images are understandably a bit blurry, but they do confirm that DNA from the current Jag lineup is transitioning nicely to the new small luxury sedan. The XE shows a stance typical of the brand, with a relatively short rear overhang, and big, boldly styled wheels. The bluff front end is reminiscent of if the XF and XJ, and, as we know from earlier teasers, will wear a "growler" logo over a black grille.

Are you the soon-to-be-revealed Jaguar CUV concept?

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Following the teaser of the Jaguar CX-17 Concept released last weekend, the first official image of the Jaguar crossover concept appears to have hit the Internet ahead of its introduction at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Assuming this is the real deal, the tall, upright front end removes any doubt that this is anything but a preview for the upcoming Jaguar crossover, which will likely be called either the XQ or the Q-Series. Reports suggest that Jag's first-ever CUV is likely to go into production in 2016, and it will bring with it the option for a Jaguar-developed four-cylinder engine replacing the current mills still sourced from former parent Ford.
