Thanks for looking at this amazing 1969 E Type series II Jaguar Convertible.This very exceptional Jaguar was restored about 12 years ago and is an all numbers matching car that is collector owned and maintained to the strictest of schedules.The car underwent an extensive restoration at which time the car went from Willow Green to Signal red with Biscuit interior a color combo that just commands attention by any one who sees it.The car is always maintained by a Jaguar specialist and the present owner has had the pleasure for owning this car for over 10 years.The glass on the car is all in excellent shape as well as the doors,trunk and bonnet line up nicely and open and close with ease.This Jaguar is an excellent driver quality car the runs and drives excellent with lots of service records and documentation on hand.The undercarriage of the car is in excellent condition please see pic.The car has like new Michelin XVS 185X15 tires with the spare and tool kit all in place.This E Type has won several awards and really draws a crowd everywhere it goes.The car does have some minor blemishes please take time to look at the last pics carefully and i have many more pictures i will glady email upon request.This Jaguar is sold as is but please take time to read my feedback and bid with confidence.These pictures where just taken and i try hard to describe all our vehicles honestly and accurately.Transportation is the responsibility of the lucky new owner but we will assist any way we can with storing and loading.This E Type Jaguar is a must of you are looking for an E Type than can be shown as well as driven and examples like this are getting very hard to find.Please feel free to email any questions or offers to gogreencustoms@gmail.com,thanks for looking and good luck!!

Ecurie Ecosse collection brings in millions
Wed, 04 Dec 2013It's rare to see an entire racing team's collection go up for auction at once, but that's just what happened this past weekend at Bonhams' new headquarters in London, where there Ecurrie Ecosse collection brought in top dollar (or pound, anyway).
The collection, whose consignment we first reported on back in September, included a smattering of Jaguars, other classic racers and an iconic transporter truck, all decked out in the same blue and white livery of the Scottish flag. After reportedly feverish bidding on Sunday, the 1952 Jaguar C-Type sold for £2,900,000 ($4.75m), the '56 short-nose D-Type for another £2,600,000 ($4.26m), and the transporter for a shocking £1,800,000 (nearly $3 million) - all to the same unnamed American collector. A 1952 Jaguar XK120 roadster went to another buyer for a record £707,000 ($1.16m).
With Ringo Star's Facel Vega selling for £337,500 ($550k) and Michael Schumacher's Benetton B194 fetching another £617,500 (just over a million), the auction total skyrocketed to £16,861,630 ($2.75m), which Bonhams described as "a roaring success". Scope out the press release below for more info.
Top Gear caught filming Best of British near Buckingham Palace
Mon, 24 Jun 2013YouTuber and car-fan extraordinaire Shmee probably had very little trouble tracking down the Top Gear film crew recently, as the group was putting together an episode that could accurately be described as "excessive." With its flag-waving (literally) Best of British theme, the TG guys gathered a jaw-dropping array of British cars, and parked them all right in front of Buckingham Palace to make extra sure that the point was driven home.
Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were outfitted with a trio of Jaguar F-Types festooned with gigantic Union Jacks, with which to survey the landscape of British motoring glory. In the video below, you'll see that this includes any number of Mini, Aston Martin, Lotus, McLaren, Land Rover, Bentley and Rolls-Royce models (just to name a few), as well as a healthy dose of weird stuff that most people would never guess at being built in the UK. The lawnmowers and military vehicles are especially cool.
Playmate of the Year Raquel Pomplun gets a Jaguar F-Type
Sun, 12 May 2013The Jaguar F-Type is slinking its way into vastly divergent corners of the celebrity world. Lana del Rey is its songstress, Englishman-playing-American-terrorist Damien Lewis lead its cinematic debut in Desire, San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick gets the athletic endorsement, and now it's just been driven behind the "Adults Only" doors at the Playboy Mansion: Raquel Pomplun was gifted a year's use of an F-Type for being named 2013 Playmate of the Year.
