This is a beautiful 2006 Infiniti FX35 (Touring and Sport packages) in GREAT condition! It is black on black with 138,417 miles, most of which are highway. The interior is VERY clean and mechanically it runs great! It is equipped with factory 20" wheels, BOSE audio system, 6-disc CD player, heated seats, sunroof, and a reverse camera (this is really cool, if you've never had one, as it allows you to park and maneuver easily in tight spaces). The black paint shines like new with only a few MINOR nicks and scratches that can't be seen from over a few feet away. The tires have over 50% tread life left (probably in the 60-75% range). The black/graphite leather interior is in great shape, as well as the carpet. There is a minor split in the leather on the side of the driver's seat that isn't very noticeable without looking for it. As you will notice from the pictures, this FX has been VERY well maintained and taken care of. Do NOT worry about the 138k+ miles on it, as it drives and shifts out VERY smoothly, with no issues whatsoever....NONE. In fact, my father had an Infiniti (has a newer model now) a few years ago that he put 350k+ miles on and was still able to sell it when he was ready for a new one. That's how these well-built, Nissan-made Infiniti's can perform when taken care of properly. If you are looking for an SUV that perfectly combines luxury and sport, the FX35 is definitely the vehicle for you! You get all of the luxury you would expect from Infiniti, plus a 280 horsepower engine that can get 20+ mpg! I am selling this one, because I recently purchased a newer model. I have absolutely loved this SUV from day one (I am the second owner), and I know it's next owner will feel the same!

Cadillac snags de Nysschen from Infiniti, names him new president

Fri, 11 Jul 2014

Johan de Nysschen, the (now former) president of Infiniti, has officially jumped ship. The 54-year-old, who also spent time as the chief executive for Audi USA, has taken the position of president at Cadillac, following a two-year stint at the Nissan-owned luxury brand. In his new role, the 54-year-old will be responsible "for all aspects of Cadillac globally," according to a statement from General Motors.
"Johan brings to our company vast experience in the development and proper execution of luxury automotive brands," said GM President Dan Ammann, de Nysschen's new boss. "With over 20 years in this exact space, especially in the development of the Audi brand, his track record proves he is the perfect executive to lead Cadillac for the long term."
"I have for some time now been impressed by how the new General Motors has been transformed into a formidable force in the industry," de Nysschen said in a statement. "The combination of strong corporate leadership and exceptional engineering resources presents the perfect combination to restore Cadillac to its place among global premium brands."

Vettel and Coulthard drive Russia's very unfinished Sochi Circuit

Thu, 16 May 2013

The next Winter Olympics will happen in Sochi, Russia from February 7-23, 2014. Sometime after that, barring any delays, a portion of the Sochi Olympic Park will be turned into the Sochi Olympic Park Circuit, a 3.65-mile track for the first Russian Grand Prix in 100 years (the last of two Formula One grands prix were held in St. Petersburg).
As we've come to expect from the Infiniti Red Bull team, it recently sent Sebastian Vettel and brand ambassador David Coulthard to the unfinished venue to run the route in Infiniti M sedans and offer some impressions. With average cornering speeds above 62 miles an hour, Coulthard called it a fast street circuit in the Monaco vein. You can watch them try it out - yes, that's Vettel gone airborne above - and avoid a "White Van Man" in the video below.

Infiniti cribs new US boss from Porsche

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Just weeks before he was supposed to become CEO of Porsche Cars Australia, Infiniti has apparently offered Porsche COO and Executive Vice President Michael Bartsch a deal he couldn't refuse. Thus, Bartsch has join the company as Vice President of Infiniti Americas, the luxury marque's top North American post. Bartsch replaces Ben Poore, who has been with the automaker since 2008, having led both a 22-percent sales surge in 2012 and the brand's current sales slough, Automotive News reports.
Bartsch, Porsche's No. 2 US executive, has held the COO and Executive Vice President positions at Porsche since 2005 and was scheduled to become CEO of Porsche's Oz division on September 1. Infiniti has experienced a number of recent personnel changes in the past week: it named Vincent Gillet, formerly an executive for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, to lead its marketing efforts worldwide and Simon Cox, a former designer for automakers including Ford and Peugeot, to head a new design studio in London.
Poore reportedly will pursue other interests outside of the auto industry. Read more about the personnel change in the press release below.
