Bought this car a few months back. Everything was working fine until the driver seat stopped working one day. Everything else works fine.
I am selling to buy a minivan since I now have another baby on the way. If you are looking at a Hyundai Genesis 5.0 you won't find one cheaper. Car runs and drives as it should. I would be happy to drive the car anywhere a potential buyer would like to have it inspected at your expense. Car has two minor cosmetic issues. 1.) a scratch on the driver side headlight. I tried to get it in the pictures, but it's not that big. 2.) Rear bumper has two marks on the paint, but I was unable to capture them in any picture. Depending on the angle you look at the bumper you may see it. I myself did not notice until someone pointed it out. Car is located near Tampa, Fl. I have the tittle in hand. Feel free to ask questions, this is not my a business for me, so I may have missed things a buyer is looking for. I will work with your shipping company as needed and can deliver the car near Tampa, Florida. All shipping costs will be paid for by the buyer. *added this section to describe deer accident on 10/24* Just realized I did not add this. For full disclosure, This vehicle was involved in hitting a deer on Thursday Oct 24 on my way home from and embarrassing Thrusday night football showing by the Bucs in Tampa. They got whooped by Newton and the Panthers, dear god, please allow me to stay on track and sell this car... The deer took out the glass on the driver side headlight and bent the front fender enough that it was worth replacing. No real damage was done and the deer only skimmed the car. |

Hyundai reveals flying car among other wacky concepts [w/video]
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Hyundai has held an IDEA festival for the past three years that gives its engineers a break from seat belts, and electrical harnesses and wheel arch moldings. Each festival serves up a theme for personal mobility, after that there's no limit - competing teams can come up with anything that serves the theme and are encouraged to get creative.
That's how you get concepts like the E4U 'egg car' (pictured); a single-stander mode of transportation that channels Mork from Ork. The oddest thing about the egg is not the yellow shell but the helmet the 'driver' wears. Other ideas included a flying car with 16 (!) rotors, a bicycle that could serve as a spare tire and a car with five joints. Although most appeared totally impractical, all were totally cool.
This year's festival is in the works, the theme being the rather ambiguous "R&D for customers," the point is apparently to come up with concepts that Hyundai customers might actually use. There's a video with scenes of last year's festival and a press release below (our vote goes to the Pandora).
Honda scores big in Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards [w/videos]
Wed, 15 Jan 2014This year the Detroit Auto Show didn't just celebrate the automobile, it celebrated how we find out about the automobile, too. Partnering The One Club, this year introduced the 2014 One Show Automobile Advertising of the Year Award to Cobo Hall, celebrating winners in five different categories of advertising: broadcast television, online, interactive, experiential, and print/outdoor. Winners in those categories were judged by 50 creative directors and journalists, while a Public Choice category was chosen from among nearly 20,000 online votes.
Honda walked off with three of the six awards, its Hands spot taking Broadcast honors, its Sound of Honda getting the Online category and Illusions winning Public Choice. Hyundai made the grade in Interactive with Driveway Decision Maker, Fiat captured Print/Outdoor with its "Letters" ad, and Toyota's Tundra Endeavor Campaign spot and BMW's A Window into the Near Future were co-winners for Experiential.

Hyundai lets loose another Super Bowl ad
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Another day, another Super Bowl ad from Hyundai. The automaker is planning to show off five spots during the big game, and seems hell-bent on trotting each one out ahead of time to garner the most amount of attention possible. We've already seen three of the ads, and the latest follows one young boy as he amasses a football team to take on a bully. His selections range from a set of body-building twins to a bear wrestler and a freakishly strong good Samaritan. The spot is intended to show off exactly what sort of uses you could come up with for the seven-passenger Santa Fe.
We understand Hyundai's push to roll out its ads ahead of time. Estimations from previous years indicate previewing Super Bowl ads can increase viewership by as much as 700 percent, but there's little call for this slow walk out. The company still has one more spot to show off, and we won't exactly be holding our breath. You can check out the latest ad below as well as the most recent press release.
