Hi everyone,

First of all I'm the 3rd owner of the vehicle I bought it back in Oct. 5, 2011 when it had 37,000 miles on it. Since then I've invested time and money to make it look the way you see it now.  It's an amazing Hummer H2 SUT. It's rolling on 49 inch tires, it has 21 inch rims and it stands 10ft tall. Everything is done right. Gears are special made for the rotation of the tires and it also includes custom gears for the 4x4. There's no check engine light on. The only thing that shows on the instrument cluster is service 4x4. That's due to the aftermarket gears. The only inconvenience is that the rear back window doesn't go down due to the previous sound system it had. Regarding sound system; it comes with 7 tv's, one on each door, on the headrest, and the one that controls all of them. It also has (2) 10 inch subs under the rear seat. I use the Hummer for shows and on the weekends. It's street legal and I even take it on road trips. Whoever decides to purchase this amazing hummer will have a blast and it's very eye catching; it's like driving a big toy. There's a lot of things I'm leaving out like the wench, remote start, heated seats, rear camera, and etc......... You're welcome to see the pictures and if you have any questions send me a message or call me at (915) 288-7882. The purchaser of this amazing hummer will love it.

Out With A Bang: Hummer dealer giving away free shotgun with every new vehicle purchase

Lynch Hummer dealership in Chesterfield, Missouri - Click above for image gallery
You've heard of art imitating life? Well how about life imitating war? That's another story entirely, but not so far fetched when it comes to the Hummer. The sport-'ute that met the public eye during Operation Desert Storm has all but completely gone through its entire life cycle in the intervening years: first as a military-only vehicle, the original model became available to the public, then GM bought the rights and started churning out pickup-based H2s and H3s, the U.S. armed forces went back Iraq, the original H1 was discontinued and now GM is preparing to wind down the brand entirely. But not before one last pistol-shootin' hoorah, courtesy of the one dealership that arguably sees the truck for what it is more than any other: Lynch Hummer.
The St. Louis-area franchise made headlines last year when they started filling their emptying showroom with gun racks, selling firearms to make up for dwindling sales in the gigantic SUVs. Now the dealership is connecting the dots with a one-of-a-kind promotion: Buy a Hummer, get a free shotgun.

GeigerCars Hummer H2 Bomber is ready for winter...now that it's spring

GeigerCars Hummer H2 Bomber - Click above for high-res image gallery
GiegerCars has a love affair with American cars, and a particularly strange affection for Hummers. The German tuner has created all sorts of strange variants like a Christmas-themed H2, a 700-horsepower H2 built for a Texas sheriff or any number of racing-liveried Hummers like the "Gulf Wing" or this Martini Racing inspired H3.
GiegerCars' latest creation is the Hummer H2 Bomber. The most notable modification is the addition of four Mattracks 88M1-A1 rubber tracks that replace the twenty inch wheels. The rest of the vehicle features a military design theme as well as a roof box with lighting and a silver matte paint finish. Now all we need is a race on a snow-covered drag strip between this and Ken Block's Subaru TRAX STI. Follow the jump for the press release from GeigerCars.

Architects design home made entirely of Hummers

Tue, 26 Jul 2011

Architects Craig Hodges and HsinMing Fung joined forces in 1984 to create their agency HplusF. Since then, the pair have gone on to apply their stylistic skill to the UCLA library, Hollywood Bowl, Egyptian Theater and a number of other works of architectural art. HplusF also tackles unique installations and showpieces, one of which involves the now-departed Hummer brand.
What could easily be a luxury apartment in the video game Fallout 3 is in fact HplusF's HummerHaus. Eight identical Hummer body shells wrap around a a steel skeleton to form a living space like no other.
Of course, this is merely a concept, but it's a rather interesting one. Could old vehicles be rehabbed into affordable living spaces? Could the Hummer body have a new lease on life after it was cut from the General Motors family?
