1992 Am General Hummer H1 Limited Edition on 2040-cars
Brooklyn, New York, United States
I own this beautiful truck for about a year now. I am a car dealer and my business are focused on export of high end vehicles. I ve been looking for a long time to buy this particular Limited Edition truck for a customer oversea. Unfortunately due to changes in foreign import regulations, customer could not bring this truck in his country. For general information: 1992 Hummers were sold directly by the factory. All 1992s were ''Limited Edition'' models, only 316 has been made. The truck in very good condition, you'll be surprised how good the condition of this truck compared to many Hummers on the road. Needs nothing, everythings work, drives smooth, no rust, not shaking on the road, no odor smell. The interior and engine compartment has been sound & heat insulated, and the truck is pretty quit right now, not to mention it's a lot warmer. Truly amazing truck.
You don't need to pay fees, you only pay for the truck. I have ton's of pictures, pretty much of every scratch and on on every part on this truck. Feel confident to send me your email and I ll be glad to send them all to you. Thank you. |

Hummers are for Horses: Artist reimagines the monsterous SUV [w/video]

When the internal combustion engine finally helped the automobile pass the horse-drawn carriage as the chosen method of transportation for a majority of citizens in the United States, that a step in the right direction. Right? Moving forward about a hundred years... when the behemoth Sport Utility Vehicle that never actually seems to venture off the beaten path passed the minivan in the hearts and minds of families across the country as the people-mover of choice, was that a step in the right direction?
If you answered no to either of the above questions, perhaps you'll enjoy the video pasted after the break. Created by artist Jeremy Dean (read about our initial post on the project here), the converted Hummer H2 is called Futurama and is pulled by two white horses named, appropriately enough, Duke and Diesel. Hummers are for horses? See for yourself.
Out With A Bang: Hummer dealer giving away free shotgun with every new vehicle purchase

You've heard of art imitating life? Well how about life imitating war? That's another story entirely, but not so far fetched when it comes to the Hummer. The sport-'ute that met the public eye during Operation Desert Storm has all but completely gone through its entire life cycle in the intervening years: first as a military-only vehicle, the original model became available to the public, then GM bought the rights and started churning out pickup-based H2s and H3s, the U.S. armed forces went back Iraq, the original H1 was discontinued and now GM is preparing to wind down the brand entirely. But not before one last pistol-shootin' hoorah, courtesy of the one dealership that arguably sees the truck for what it is more than any other: Lynch Hummer.
The St. Louis-area franchise made headlines last year when they started filling their emptying showroom with gun racks, selling firearms to make up for dwindling sales in the gigantic SUVs. Now the dealership is connecting the dots with a one-of-a-kind promotion: Buy a Hummer, get a free shotgun.
Report: Last-ditch sale effort for Hummer post wind-down announcement fading
Tue, 06 Apr 2010It's getting tough for even the most ardent supporters of the Hummer brand to continue to keep hope alive. Reports the aficionados at HummerGuy.net: "While many of us were hoping for a last-minute miracle to save the Hummer brand, signs from Detroit are indicating that Hummer production will soon cease indefinitely."
It appears as if General Motors has resigned itself to winding the brand down and letting it die a slow, agonizing death. The automaker says that it's no longer considering offers for the brand and dedicated Hummer staff are reportedly be assigned to serve elsewhere.
Oh, and about that "Save Hummer" summit that's planned for April 11th near Chicago? GM, though it is aware of the rally, has no plans to send representation. That sound that you hear? That's just the tolling of Hummer's death knell. Thanks for the tip, Brian!
