Hello you are bidding on a 2012 Honda Ridgeline Sport 4WD with 27,300 miles. The vehicle runs and lot drives. The vehicle sustained damage to the right front of the vehicle and right rear. The trucks interior is in great shape. The vehicle will need the following parts, front bumper cover, grille, right foglamp, right taillight, driver bag, right fender,right headlight, misc clips and mounting hardware. The right tail is pushed down, the suspension and engine cradle are ok. The radiator and ac condenser are ok. The right inner fender structure will need to be pulled and repaired. The right bedside has some damage on it that will need to be repaired. The left bedside also has a dent in it. These truck sell for mid Thirty's on the lot. The parts are available at car-part or on www ebay com. The vehicle is being sold as is damaged with salvage title. The truck is from Tn. NHTSA gives okay for three automakers to skirt tire-related recalls
Thu, 25 Jul 2013BMW, Honda, and Mercedes-Benz are all going to avoid small recalls, after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued petitions for "findings of inconsequential noncompliance" to the three manufacturers, according to Tire Business. Basically, the petitions allow the brands to avoid recalls for some very, very minor issues.
BMW had tire placards on 364 X6 M CUVs that stated the car could only handle four passengers, when in reality it had room for three in the back. Actual plausibility of fitting three real humans in the slope-roofed Bimmer aside, the Munich-based manufacturer argued it was inconsequential, as the placards were correct regardless of the number of passengers.
Honda's case focused on 212 2011 and 2012 Acura TSX sedans equipped with 18-inch wheels. The TPMS systems on these cars were set for 17-inch wheels, rather than the larger hoops, but even with the lower settings, the tires maintain adequate load capacity.

Honda settles class-action lawsuit over oil-burning V6s
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Although we hadn't heard of this issue before, Automotive News reports that Honda has agreed to settle a massive class-action lawsuit brought against it for engine trouble potentially affecting nearly 1.6 million vehicles. The lawsuit includes Accord (2008-12), Odyssey (2008-13), Pilot (2009-13) and Crosstour (2010-13) models equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 with Variable Cylinder Management, which might experience engine misfire, excessive oil burning and premature spark plug fouling issues.
As part of the settlement, Honda will extend the powertrain warranty on these models for eight years (from time of purchase or lease) with no mileage limitation, and it will also reimburse customers who had to pay out-of-pocket expenses for related repairs such as spark plugs, pistons or, in some cases, apparently, an entirely new engine. (Of course, the repairs had to be related to certain trouble codes.) Lawyers will get no more than $800,000 from Honda and the guy who originally started the case, Vince Eagen, will get $1,000 for his "time and effort."
