2005 Honda Civic Sedan Hybrid 5 Speed Manual Non Smoker Cd A/c Runs Excellent on 2040-cars

Year:2005 Mileage:173742 Color: is
Location:

I am selling my 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid.  The exterior color is Metallic Gray (paint code: NH675M) and interior is gray/black.  Both the interior and exterior are clean with only minor flaws.

This civic has the 1.3L motor.  It runs great and always right up with no hesitation.
It also has the sought after 5 speed transmission.  The transmission shifts as it should with no issues.
I have been getting 40+ mpg city and get 55+ highway.  I drive it about 200 miles a week....

This civic has a complete spare tire and tool set in the trunk as well as a complete honda wheel lock kit.  It also has front and rear floor mats.  There is also a Kenwood cd player with a remote.  The car has been cleaned and ready for possession of a new owner.

It just recently passed PA Inspection and Emissions and passed with no issues.  Inspected until 3/15.

Recently replaced the hybrid battery charger and battery pack that was sourced from a car with 82k miles on it.  This pack is very good.  I have not seen the charging bars dip below 75% full.  I have had 3 different hybrids and this is by far the strongest I have seen a battery pack.

I just changed the oil Saturday morning and did not see anything out of the ordinary on the car.

Honda Tourer BTCC car lavished with photographic love

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Back in December, Honda Yuasa Racing gave us one image of the Civic Tourer entrant it's fielding in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship. Thanks to media days at Brands Hatch and a few photos from Oulton Park, we've got a whole photo album of the elongated Civic that will attempt to continue Honda's BTCC winning ways and shots of drivers Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal.
This is the first wagon to race in the BTCC since 1994, when Jan Lammers and Rickard Rydel had just one year to throw the Volvo 850 Estate BTCC between the kerbing. The following year, the rules were changed so that rear wings couldn't extend above the roofline or beyond the rear bumper, which meant the end of Volvo's blue and white "pizza delivery wagon."
The season begins on March 30 at Brands Hatch, when Shedden and Neal will begin trying to wrest the driver's championship crown from Pirtek Racing. We don't know anything more about the manufacturer entry go-fast Civic Tourer, however, which means this is just an easy feast for the eyes. Because racing wagon.

Honda settles class-action lawsuit over oil-burning V6s

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Although we hadn't heard of this issue before, Automotive News reports that Honda has agreed to settle a massive class-action lawsuit brought against it for engine trouble potentially affecting nearly 1.6 million vehicles. The lawsuit includes Accord (2008-12), Odyssey (2008-13), Pilot (2009-13) and Crosstour (2010-13) models equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 with Variable Cylinder Management, which might experience engine misfire, excessive oil burning and premature spark plug fouling issues.
As part of the settlement, Honda will extend the powertrain warranty on these models for eight years (from time of purchase or lease) with no mileage limitation, and it will also reimburse customers who had to pay out-of-pocket expenses for related repairs such as spark plugs, pistons or, in some cases, apparently, an entirely new engine. (Of course, the repairs had to be related to certain trouble codes.) Lawyers will get no more than $800,000 from Honda and the guy who originally started the case, Vince Eagen, will get $1,000 for his "time and effort."
The final ruling on the matter will take place on March 21, 2014, and if you want to see if you're affected and what options you have in the settlement, check out this .pdf document with all the details.
