If you are in the market for a 99-00 civic si and wanted a clean, straight, unmolested , stock, and spotless carfax one, this is it!! Very well taken care of and extremely hard to find in this condition..Tons of service records, full timing belt job and clutch done at 100k and a non smoker vehicle as well... I just put the car in the shop 2 weeks ago and had it completely gone over and told them to replace whatever was necessary.. New front pads and rotors, muffler, and valve cover gasket set were all replaced.. The car is completely ready to go and can be driven anywhere.. MECHANICAL:: The 1.6 dohc vtec motor runs and sounds perfect! A great combination of fun and fuel efficiency! The clutch feels like new and goes into every gear at any rpm PERFECT!! This car was adult owned its entire life and it shows! As mentioned, turn key car ready to enjoy! EXTERIOR:: Great condition here as well.. Absolutely no rust ANYWHERE and all body panels are original with all matching vin#s still stamped in place.. The paint is in great shape with just a few minor imperfections (pictured) and could be considered excellent shape for its age... Easily 9/10.. INTERIOR:: Super clean inside ! All options work perfectly, cold a/c, etc,etc.. Seats , carpet, door panels all in great shape with only the smallest amount of wear and tear, again I would rate an easy 9/10.. Automakers score 8 out of top 20 most-watched ads on YouTube [w/videos]
Fri, 14 Dec 2012Who would have ever thought there'd be a day where people are able to skip television commercials only to go to websites to watch them later? Such is the joy of a DVR and YouTube. AdWeek tabulated the 20 most-watched ads on YouTube, and found that nine were car-related including eight coming from automakers.
Volkswagen continued its Star Wars theme with two ads in the top 20, including the highest-ranking car commercial The Bark Side spot at number three with almost 18 million views, which doesn't even have a single car in it. Some of our favorites are from Chrysler with Clint Eastwood in It's Halftime in America and House Arrest with Charlie Sheen for the Fiat 500 Abarth. Chevrolet, Honda, Audi and Toyota were the other automakers in the top 20, but we'd be remiss if we didn't at least mention one of the coolest ads on the list, the Hot Wheels corkscrew jump.
Of all the car videos, only the Fiat ad wasn't played during a Super Bowl. Check out all eight videos - in order - after the jump. Nike took the top spot with its My Time is Now ad that has been seen online more than 20 million times with Pepsi's Uncle Drew posted up in the runner-up; some of the other videos include four Old Spice commercials and an ad in which Snoop Dogg is pedaling Hot Pockets.
Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).

Thu, 30 Jan 2014Futurists have been treating 3D printing like it is the second coming of the Industrial Revolution for years. Everyone will have a 3D printer in their garage and be able make practically anything at home before you know it, right? Well... not quite.
While we can imagine a piece of trim breaking on our car and being able to download the file to print a new one at home, the reality is that 3D printing is still in its earliest stages as a consumer device. Still, Honda is capitalizing on the technology by allowing people to make models of its concept cars at home.
The Honda 3D Design Archive currently consists of five models based on the Fuya-Jo, FSR, Kiwami, Puyo, and NSX concepts. The printer files can be downloaded from the web and carry Creative Commons 4.0 licenses, which allow them to be freely shared. Honda promises that more files will be added to the archive soon.
