2009 Gmc Sierra Denali on 2040-cars
West Monroe, Louisiana, United States
This is a very clean 2009 GMC Sierra Denali RWD. I am the second owner of this vehicle owning it for over three years. It is fully loaded besides rear sliding back glass and sun roof. It has heated seats, navigation, wireless Bluetooth handless speaker, adjustable foot pedals, back up sensors, HID headlights in high, low and fog lights, Volant cold air intake, magnaflow exhaust, and auto windshield wipers. Interior condition is almost near mint condition. As far as exterior there is a scratch on the back door glass on drivers side. There is just minor scratches (very small) that are here and there. It does have a sprayed in bedliner. This vehicle is low mileage with less than 50,000 miles on it. This truck does have a speaker system in it for an additional $700 dollars. It has two solo baric 8's in a ported box under the seat with a Memphis 1000 watt amp. This is a very clean and well maintained vehicle with oil change every 4000 miles with synthetic oil. It is also a flex fuel truck. This truck has never been in a wreck. I would rate the tires to have 80% tread life left. If this vehicle is bought with the BUY IT NOW I will throw the speakers and amp in. If any questions call or text me at 318-512-7370. Thanks |

GM recalling 117,000 sedans, crossovers, SUVs, pickups and vans
Thu, 02 Oct 2014General Motors has issued a stop-sale to dealers and has notified the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration of its intention to recall 117,000 vehicles in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Of those vehicles, only 4,500 are at dealerships.
The affected vehicles include the Cadillac CTS and Chevrolet Impala sedans, fullsize SUVs (Cadillac Escalade, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban and GMC Yukon and Yukon XL), Lambda-platform crossovers (Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia), heavy-duty pickups (Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD) and fullsize vans (Chevy Express and GMC Savana). The sedans and body-on-frame SUVs include model years 2013 and 2014, while the CUVs, heavy-duty pickups and vans are limited to MY2014.
GM confirmed the recall to Autoblog via an emailed statement (which we've included below). According to the statement, the issue at hand in what is the company's 69th recall of 2014 covers the chassis-control module. Automotive News is reporting that a problem in the chassis-control system could cause a short in the module, which could cause the engine to stall or fail to start. The fault could also affect the trailer-brake control, provided it's equipped.
GM to sell rebranded Peugeot vans in US?
Wed, 10 Jul 2013According to a report by France's La Tribune cited by Reuters, General Motors and Peugeot are discussing the possibility of selling PSA Peugeot-Citroën commercial vans in the US through The General's dealership network. While specific models and what brand they may sell under stateside are not immediately clear, the move isn't entirely out of the blue, particularly since GM owns seven percent of the French automaker.
Peugeot and GM already have a joint-venture agreement to ease costs associated with vehicle development and procuring parts, and while the progress of the arrangement has been inhibited some by Europe's difficult economy, the two automakers are looking to expand the relationship. With sales in the dumpster, Peugeot's long-term prospects have looked particularly shaky as of late, and GM could use a modern commercial van lineup to better compete with North America's suddenly modern and Euro-fied competition. Mercedes-Benz kicked off the high-roof trend with its Sprinter, and for 2014, Ford is following with its Transit van (joining its smaller Transit Connect sibling), while Chrysler is leveraging its relationship with Fiat to rebrand the Ducato range of vans as Ram Promaster models.
Peugeot already has a full line of commercial van solutions in its stable, from its compact Partner and Bipper models to the larger Expert and Boxer models, which are available in a variety of cargo and people-carrying configurations.
GMC Canyon's jump seats innovate to keep kids safe [w/video]
Sat, 03 May 2014We dig simple solutions to problems. There's something highly gratifying about making a minute change to fix something, rather than tearing up the playbook. That's what GMC has done with the new Canyon midsize pickup.
When putting a car seat in, car seat manufacturers require that at least 80 percent of the seat's base fit on the bottom cushion. That's a big problem in extended-cab pickups like the Canyon, which feature jump seats with shorter bottom cushions, in place of the larger, more traditionally designed bench.
The Canyon gets around this with extendable jump seats - simply pop out the headrest and slot it into the bottom seat cushion, and the truck can now easily accommodate a child's seat.
