1969 Ford Torino Cobra 7.0l on 2040-cars
Mooresville, North Carolina, United States
For sale 1969 Ford Torino Cobra 428-4V CJ. This car was found and purchased locally. It only has a little over 5300 miles on the odometer and being Charlotte area most likely a race team pulled the drive train and parked the car for many years. In fact the decklid on the car (and not being sold with the car) is from a race car #28. The Marti report says this vehicle was built in Atlanta on 12/30/1968. It had a C-6 with shifter on the column as all Cobra's did. The interior of the car is in good shape with no cracks in the dash and the rear seat looks as though it hasn't been sat in. Key is even still in the ignition. You can see the condition of the floors, trunk, etc. Even with obvious areas of rust on the car the frame members are in good shape. Front windshield is cracked but rest of the glass looks to be in good condition.
These cars are rare. There were only 2323 of them with this engine/trans code, 1009 with this paint code and 140 with with paint/trim code. This car deserves a restoration or to aid in the restoration of another Cobra, but, we have too many projects at this time to complete. This car is being sold as is/where is with no warranty. You will need a trailer/winch to load the vehicle or your shipping company will. We are selling this car locally and reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. This car is being sold on a bill of sale. There is no title. Ebay makes you select a field. Again this is being sold on a bill of sale. Thanks for your consideration |

Ford Transit customs ready to work for SEMA
Fri, 31 Oct 2014Ford's booth at the SEMA Show this year looks to have two, big themes. The Blue Oval is bringing over a dozen takes on the 2015 Mustang to the event, and it's now also announcing five customized versions on the 2015 Transit to join the modded pony cars. Each of the vans shows off a different use for the spacious commercial vehicle, from plush luxury to offroad ruggedness.
You probably don't think of the Transit as hitting the trails, but that's just what the take on the design from the Vegas Off-Road Experience (pictured above) is for. The company gives people the opportunity to drive a desert race truck, and this custom is meant to drive them to events. It should be able to take on the terrain a little better with off-road wheels and tires and fender flares, but inside passengers get serious luxury thanks to a 60-inch LED TV and video game systems.
Alternatively the blazing red Designed Travel Transit (right) is all about long road trips. The interior features four captain's chairs with heating, cooling and massage functions, and there's a 4K 50-inch TV to watch. For a touch of added class, the floor is made from hickory.
2015 Ford Mustang [w/videos]
Thu, 05 Dec 2013
It'd be unwise to bet against the sixth generation of this legendary nameplate.
The 2015 Ford Mustang is assuredly the most anticipated new vehicle of the year. The redesigned Pony Car has been the subject of frantic gossiping and covert spy photos covering everything from the way it looks to the tech it will include, its performance, mechanicals and a bevy of other aspects of Ford's performance icon.
Leno chooses his top 10 Mustangs
Sat, 14 Jun 2014He may be a few months late to the party, but in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, Jay Leno has delivered a short video in which he runs down which of the Blue Oval's pony cars from the past 50 years are his favorites.
The list is pretty darn similar to our own, with some of the big names from the Mustang's half century making an appearance, while there are three or four cars here that we think you'll be pretty surprised by.
Take a look below for this short video from Jay Leno's Garage.
