The front end had some damage before I got it but everything has been replaced or fixed and it does not affect anything. THE ONLY MAJOR PROBLEM IS THE EXHAUST/CATALYTIC COVERTER SYSTEM. They would have to be replaced. Included is a New, Unused, In The Box Sony 10 Disk CD player system."

This is a 4 Door, 6 Cylinder, Grey 2004 Ford Taurus SE. I am NOT a car dealer. It has about 122,000 miles. I have used this car since 2010 and it has always started easily, never burned oil, has never had any transmission problems, has good brakes, good Michelin Tires, and is a great running car.
I am including a NEW, UNUSED 10 Disk Sony CD player. It must be installed but it is designed for this car.
The body is in very good shape although it seems there was some front end damage before I got it there is no mechanical problem from it. There are NO  major dents or scratches.

I have two extra REMOTE units for the doors/trunk.

THE ONLY PROBLEM: This car needs an CATALYTIC COVERTERS AND EXHAUST SYSTEM WORK.

I WOULD TRADE FOR A SMALL SUV if it is in decent shape. It must be a SMALL SUV with 4 wheel drive that is in good to excellent shape. If it is good I would consider trading PLUS cash. I',m looking for a  Honda CRV, Ford Escape, or a Jeep Liberty.  I will not drive more than 50 miles from Boston to look at your SUV if you are considering a trade.

2015 Ford Mustang GT road test ride-along

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

You've no doubt already pored over our first drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang, where author Jonathon Ramsey proclaimed that "this new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment." And following Ramsey's first stint behind the wheel of Ford's new coupe, we sent him back out with another 'Stang to capture some of these same impressions over a backdrop of the car moving quickly along gorgeous California canyon roads.
But this also gave our author and editors time to read through the hundreds of comments left on that original Mustang review. You readers are indeed a vocal bunch, and one particular comment about how the automotive media is so willing to bash an outgoing car as soon as the new one arrives really caught our attention. In this video, Ramsey stands by his written text, saying the new Mustang is "massively better than the one it replaces," and in doing so, addresses your comments while providing more insight into just how good the Ford truly is.
We won't spoil the rest for you. Check out the feature video above, and as always, leave us your thoughts in the Comments section below.

Ford Explorer, Expedition next to go aluminum?

Sun, 13 Apr 2014

Ford made some serious waves when it unveiled the latest F-150. Instead of making its bodywork out of steel, like just about every other truck on the market, Ford went with aluminum. And you can bet the F-150 won't be the last Ford model to go with the lightweight alloy construction, either.
Our compatriots at Edmunds report that Dearborn is considering replacing two of its most popular SUVs with aluminum versions. One candidate is the Expedition, which would make sense considering that the current model (like the two preceding generations and the fullsize Bronco before it) is based on the F-150's underpinnings. Another is the Explorer, which was traditionally based on the Ranger pickup but went with a car-like unibody chassis in its current iteration. If the Explorer does go the way of aluminum, don't expect it to be a part of its very next update, which is likely due too soon for such major changes.
It would stand to reason that, if the Expedition were to go aluminum, so would the next-generation Lincoln Navigator. Ditto the MKT together with the Explorer. But those aren't likely to be the only models in contention for aluminum construction. Like any other automaker, Ford is under pressure to steadily reduce its carbon emissions and improve its fuel economy figures, prompting it to look at a whole range of measures - including more efficient engines, lower rolling-resistance tires, active aerodynamics and lightweight construction. Expect aluminum to play a big part in that equation moving forward.

2015 Ford Mustang revs it up at Cars & Coffee

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

Just because the new 2015 Ford Mustang has officially been released, you didn't think that would be the end of the matter - did you? Of course not. There'll still be plenty of rumors, reports and video footage to bring you. Like this, the first non-official footage of the new pony car in the wild.
Shot by YouTube user SotA1080 and dug up by our friends at CarBuzz, this clip shows the new Mustang posing for photos (alongside other Mustangs) and starting up its engine at the most recent gathering of Cars & Coffee in Irvine, CA. And this being the GT model, it's not packing the V6 or the turbo four, but the red-blooded 5.0-liter V8 that tells us and enthusiasts worldwide that the new Mustang has not lost its way. Scroll on down to watch the footage for yourself.
