USED/PREOWNED FORD TAURUS 3.0L V6 4-speed Automatic 4-Door SEDAN

Its a nice reliable Car, with a few dings here and there.  Has been got repair from the rear on passenger side. However, nothing seems to be visible or damaged. It has NEVER stopped on me. This car has done well, its decent for a decent person.  I originally purchased from a person who was moving out of town so had done a thorough job of preparing the vehicle for sale.  No major work has required now.

There is no MAJOR body damage. Only affected the right rear end and right rear door and tail light (see pics), with that it has been painted real good with buffering as well.
I would still suggest to change the oil filter once you buy cuz I had not been driving the car.... but a little here and there.

Power exterior mirrors - works perfect
Power Driver's Seat Adjustment - works perfect, no problems
Power windows - work great, no problems.
Power locks - works great.
Interior is not bad, no major issues, not ripped up nor torn, nor extremely dirty, its never been smoked in either, overall above average considering the age.

Back seat pass through to trunk.
AC - was working and very COLD !

OVERALL:  Car is decent and certainly has some life left in it....has run well, I'm still driving it.  I personally love this car but since I've had money involve and have others so I'm looking to get my money back what I had invested. I am not making a FORTUNE but very little.

Email me with any questions regarding the automobile.  Car is sold AS ISI offer no warranty or guarantee as to performance, I have attempted to document known problems to the best of my ability.

Ford recalls 83k Taurus and crossover models for halfshaft issue

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

Ford and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have issued a recall for some 83,250 vehicles in the US, for an issue with halfshafts. More specifically a "halfshaft retention circlip" might not have been properly installed on affected vehicles, with the result being halfshafts that may move improperly or disengage completely from the linkshaft while driving. The NHTSA release also notes that the issue may occur "without prior warning" which obviously factors in to the timeliness of getting this checked.
Should the halfshaft disengage, a few troubling things could happen. If it occurs while driving, power from the engine will no longer be transmitted to the wheels. And, if the vehicle is parked without the parking brake applied after disengagement of the circlip, vehicles may roll away even if they're transmissions have been placed in "Park."
Affected vehicles are as follows: Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers from model years 2012 to 2014; Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKS sedans from model years 2013 to 2014; Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT vehicles from model years 2013 to 2014.

2015 Ford Edge holds line on pricing, starts at $28,100*

Tue, 04 Nov 2014

The Ford Edge gets an updated platform, bolder styling and a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged EcoBoost engine pumping out 245 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque for the 2015 model year. You might expect that all those new features would result in a big price bump, but you'd be wrong. Ford is keeping costs identical to the 2014 model with a starting MSRP of $28,100 (*plus an $895 destination charge), according to Edmunds. Ford spokesperson William Mattiace confirmed the numbers to Autoblog.
That's a pretty good deal, but the real ticket here might be the model's Sport trim. Buyers get a 2.7-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine with over 300 horsepower and standard adaptive steering for $28,600 plus destination. That's just $500 more than the base model.
Pricing for the Titanium trim has not yet been announced, but it'll be a short wait to find out. Mattiace tells Autoblog that full pricing and the configuration for the model will launch on November 5. He has also confirmed that the 2015 Edge will begin hitting dealers in the first quarter of 2015.
