Don't let the rest of the rat-rodders fool ya, along with the impossibility of finding a good cab to work with at a price that don't make your eyes bleed the amount of work involved is substantial. so here is my pitch the only reason i can find why you couldn't use a newer chassis is because the door jambs are exposed. so here is the fix take a vehicle shown here that's not going to break the bank and take the inner and outer fenders off, using only the outer fender bolt back on cut in stress cuts and roll the outer fender into the firewall bolting right at the seams of the wall, thus creating a hidden door jamb leaving a wide open engine bay to install the biggest fully blown big block you can find or a beautiful flat head for that added touch. So if your looking for a great father son or daughter project that they can purchase to build their own rod here it is at salvage price. Enterprise working with renter's insurance to cover $47k Mustang stolen from its lot
Sat, 11 Jan 2014There was more than a bit of public indigence following the recent story of Enterprise Rent-A-Car billing a customer $47,000 to replace a Ford Mustang GT Convertible stolen from a Nova Scotia lot. To recap: Kristen Cockerill rented the Mustang for two days, returned it to the lot on a Sunday and left the keys in a secure dropbox only for Enterprise employees to find the car gone the next day.
Despite Enterprise policies stating that customers are responsible for vehicles dropped on off-days, the company has admitted that the situation could've been handled a bit better.
In a recent statement, Enterprise has backed off the big-bill story, and claims to be working with Cockerill and her insurance company to resolve the issue. Further, the Enterprise general manager overseeing Nova Scotia has spoken with the harried renter, and apologized "for the way this claim was handled during the last few months."
