Comp cams, adjustable cam gears, beehive valve springs and retainers, Professional Products performance intake manifold, BBK 78mm throttle intake assembly, K&N cold air intake, Venom 24 lb/hr injectors, MSD blaster coil on plugs, BBK chrome long tube headers, BBK offroad X-pipe, Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers, Ford Racing 3.73 gears with Motive bearing rebuild kit, Hurst short throw shifter, and SCT handheld programmable tuner (Ford worked with BamaTunes for almost a week to get the tune right; not just a downloaded tune). Engine block was honed and prepped by Mattingly Automotive. They also installed and degreed the cams and cam gears. All parts were professionally installed with all the paperwork included. This mustang has been Ziebart protected which is why there is no rust. A full car cover is also included. ALL THE STOCK PARTS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE CAR. Ford 3D-printing Mustang out of chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day
Thu, 13 Feb 2014Is your beloved in love with the new 2015 Ford Mustang? Do they like chocolate (that's a trick question - everyone likes chocolate)? Are they a bit of a futurist? Then this Hallmark holiday, you need to get them this Ford Mustang, 3D-printed in sweet, delicious chocolate.
Ford is teaming with 3D Systems' Sugar Lab in LA to produce the super-accurate pony car confections in both chocolate and sugar candy varieties. The process kicked off with a CAD rendering of the 2015 Mustang, which was then programmed into the 3D printer. After a bit of work from the machine, a four-inch long, two-inch tall Mustang was the result. Why the tieup with 3D Systems, though?
"We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car," said Paul Susalla, Ford's supervisor of 3D printing.

Ford Fusion demand outstripping supply
Sat, 15 Jun 2013The attractive new 2013 Ford Fusion has done wonders for the brand in the highly competitive midsize sedan segment - the vehicle is up nearly 22 percent compared to last year. But that sales momentum may soon hold steady due to low inventory levels of the new Fusion across the United States.
According to a report in The Detroit News, citing automotive data and Ward's Auto, Ford currently has a 39-day supply of the Fusion. That might sound fine, but a normally healthy average is about a 60-day supply. If Ford were to stop production on the Fusion today, there would only be enough vehicles available to get through another five weeks of sales, according to the News.
Currently, Ford produces the Fusion at its three-shift assembly plant in Hermosillo, Mexico, and will add production at its facility in Flat Rock, MI later this year. A Ford spokesperson told The Detroit News that when Flat Rock production comes online, the automaker will need to rush new stock out to the regions with the most demand for the Fusion. Ford has doubled its coastal retail market share, with huge amounts of growth in areas like Los Angeles, San Francisco and Miami, the News reports.
