                       1993 Cobra #2244

Hello and thanks for looking. I'm selling my 93 Cobra build #2244. I purchased this vehicle wrecked in January of 2012. Since then I have had my first child and now have number 2 on the way. Needless to say, the toys have to go. I purchased this car with front end damage. I had to replace the driver side fender, front bumper cover, radiator support, windshield, hood and fog light assembly. I was able to save the factory grille insert. I had this car completely torn down and rebuilt. I had all the glass, body molding and trim removed to ensure correct paint. The car is a total re-paint which is near perfect. The interior is in near perfect condition as well. I had to install a completely new stereo system in the car. The previous owner took everything out before I purchased it. Every component of the stereo is brand new. The car also has brand new tires with less than 25  miles on them. I had the motor completely taken apart and rebuilt as well. As far as performance parts it has aluminum heads, headers, cam, full exhaust and a custom chip. This car runs perfect and has ice cold air (new compressor) and hot heat. I had this vehicle put back together the best I could. When I purchased the car it was perfect for I wanted. I was looking for a cheap low mileage car I could tastefully modify without further depreciating the car. I have 100% Feedback and would love to answer any questions you may have about the car. Thanks 606-305-8581 My wife works for our local DMV and accidently titled the vehicle with 42,000 miles. I will have this fixed. I didn't realized that she had done this until I listed the car. Not a big problem and the title does not show tmu.

Ford calling in 28k Edge crossovers over fuel line leak

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

A problem with the fuel line on certain examples of the Ford Edge has prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall. The issue revolves around the metal housing on the fuel line pulse damper, which was apparently improperly manufactured in the first place and is prone to crack in certain circumstances, leading to a fuel leak. And as we all know, a fuel leak is not a good thing.
The problem affects model year 2012 and 2013 Edge crossovers equipped with the 2.0-liter engine and manufactured between September 2, 2010 and April 25, 2013 - a total of 27,933 units. Although the Lincoln MKX is closely related to the Edge, since it isn't offered with the same engine (to which the problem is related), the recall does not include the premium-badged version. See the recall notice below for further details.

Ford Fusion production scaled back just 3 months after it was accelerated

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

Three months after kicking off production of the Ford Fusion at its Flat Rock, MI factory, Ford Motor Company is taking steps to trim output in the face of heavily discounted competition from Toyota and a growing supply of vehicles.
The addition of Fusion production in Flat Rock - which also builds the Mustang - was meant to be what pushed the handsome mid-sizer past its arch-nemesis, the Toyota Camry. An extra facility building Fusions was also meant to curb the growing demand for Ford's highly profitable sedan.
But with word that Flat Rock would take "approximately" one extra week off for the holidays combined with an 88-day supply of Fusions - reportedly due in no small part to what Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas called "aggressive discounting of the Camry" - some analysts are now beginning to wonder if Ford may have overextended itself by adding a second Fusion facility to the mix.

This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.
