1966 Ford Mustang with 98, 883 Original Miles. Second Owner.

Deluxe "Luxury" Coupe with Every Available Option!!

I purchased the car from the original owner in 1975, he had bought it new in South Florida. The car has been in storage since 1984. You can tell from the photographs that this is a project car. You can see the true condition of this Classic Car.....the rust (even the floor pan), the broken antenna and rear window, etc.

I'm selling the car with the Original 289cid V8 and a Ford 302 motor plus many extra parts!

This Classic has the following Options with the Prices Paid in 1966

289cid 2V-200HP-V8 Engine (106.00) - Cruise-O-Matic Transmission ($185.00) - Power Brakes ($42.00) - Power Steering ($84.00) - "Heavy Duty" Battery 55 Amps ($7.00) - Tinted Windshield ($21.00) - "Deluxe" Seat Belts: Front and Rear with Retractors and Warning Light ($15.00) - Visibility Group, Includes: Remote Control Side Mirror, Day/Night Rear View Mirror, 2 Speed Electric Wipers ($30.00) - Air Conditioner ($311.00) - Radio with Antenna ($58.00) - Interior Decor Group, Includes: Full Lighted Center Console ($32.00) - Special "Pony" Interior Trim, Deluxe Wood Grain Dashboard, Deluxe Wood Grain Steering Wheel, R/W Door Courtesy Lights and Pistol Grip Door Handles ($94.00) - Vinyl Roof ($74.00) - Wheel Covers ($19.00) - White Sidewall Nylon Tires ($49.00)

The Mustang Coupe had a Base Price of $2,416.00 and with the Options that this car has made the price jump to $3,543.00! Quite expensive in 1966, no wonder why it remained in the Dealer's Showroom until it was Purchased and Titled in 1968!

Out of 607,568 Mustangs that were produced in 1966 only 55,938 were Deluxe "Luxury" Coupes like this one and even fewer were manufactured with all of the Options that this car has!

This is a Clean "A" Title Very Rare Mustang that has the potential of being a $35,000 to $50,000 Classic Show Car!

Ford Mustang SVT caught looking fierce on the 'Ring

Tue, 15 Jul 2014

The next-generation Ford Mustang SVT is one of the most anticipated performance cars of the moment. We've already seen it testing multiple times, but it has always been covered is some very heavy camouflage. However, Ford has just given us our best view yet of the new muscle car. According to our spy photographer, the Mustang was at the Nürburgring for high-speed testing, which meant that the Blue Oval had to remove most of the heavy obfuscation that the SVT has worn previously.
The stylish, more revealing camo makes picking out some of the more interesting details about the SVT rather easy. Starting from the front, there is the big hood scoop to feed cold air to its still mysterious engine. You can also immediately make out the model's new grille and lower front air dam. It has a vertical piece running from the bottom of the hood all the way to the ground. The aggressive styling almost gives the 'Stang the look of two fangs ready to bite down. The hood seam is even taped off here, which shows us its outline.
Around the side, it appears that the front and rear fenders are wider than stock, and the sills are certainly much larger. You can also just make out the SVT's bigger brakes behind its black wheels with a polished lip. Finally, at the rear, things appear mostly stock other than the diffuser that the exhaust outlets nestle into.

Ford Explorer Jackson Pollock Edition results in trip to hospital

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

Among the many useful pieces of driving advice we've taken to heart over the years, "Safely secure all cargo" is etched pretty high on our personal stone tablets. We've had a couple of frustrating moments over the years (numerous wonky cupholders and too-tall lidded cups; a radar detector that released its suction cups and dashed itself below the dashboard, etc.), but never anything like the scene above.
These photos above come courtesy of the Washington State Patrol, and they show the unfortunate aftermath of a driver, his dog, and his Ford Explorer after it crashed near the town of Belfair last week. According to reports, the man was schlepping five-gallon containers of paint inside his vehicle when he was involved in an unexplained accident. It's not clear what triggered the crash, but the impromptu abstract painting covered the whole of the interior, including the driver and his faithful companion.
The man was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries, and his dog was cleaned and later taken to a humane society.

Bill Ford wins National Pond Hockey Championship with employees

Tue, 11 Feb 2014

Who says executives aren't people? This past weekend, Bill Ford, executive chairman of Ford Motor Company, and a group of employees trekked up to Eagle River, WI for a few games of pond hockey. Team Ford took part in the 2014 Labatt Blue/USA Pond Hockey Championship, capturing its fifth title in the 50+ Tier 1 Division.
"It feels great to win," Ford, who plays on the team alongside other Ford employees, told the USA Hockey website. "It was fun to play [River Valley Pioneers] because they're great guys and we play them every year. We finally beat them, which we were due. It was a very clean game, a tough game."
The FoMoCo team managed to score seven goals to River Valley's two, and went undefeated in all five of its games during the tourney. Take a look below for the official press release on Team Ford's win.
