Cars like this are VERY hard to find and do not come on the market very often!!!! I have my eye on another car and
need the space so I am offering it for sale!
With that said I am selling a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback C code with a 289 Hipo 4 speed car. This car was built by
a Shelby restorer for a client who wanted to build a car that was as close to a real 1965 Shelby GT 350 as possible
and no expense was spared. The bottom of the car is as good as the top.
Original Shelby parts list: Aluminum high-rise small letter cobra intake manifold, 7 qt oil pan and Cobra valve
covers.
The car is set up with 1 inch A-arm drop, roll bar, rear seat delete with fiberglass tray and spare tire mounted.
It is also a radio delete car. The car is fitted with side exhaust exiting in front of the rear wheels and sounds
amazing. The interior is immaculate as well with the 65 tach pod (only offered on the 1965 GT 350), 3inch wide air
force type seat belts and wood steering wheel..

Amazon looking to bring Kindle to your next car?
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Maybe so. The online retailer and digital media monolith recently announced the Amazon Cloud Player, an application for Ford Sync that allows users to stream media from their Amazon Cloud account directly to a Ford vehicle. This foray into automotive technology got the minds at Gigaom.com thinking about what could be next for Amazon. As Kevin Fitchard writes, the logical step is to make audio versions of your Kindle library selections available in your car. As he points out, Amazon has already laid the groundwork for such a move.
Amazon pulled the sheets back on Whispersync for Voice last year. The tech pairs ebooks with an Audible book for a small extra fee, allowing users to either read along with a narrator or switch between audio and text versions on command. Fitchard says it wouldn't be some great leap to apply the same principles to a car, where voice recognition software would allow users to pause or select chapters without ever taking their eyes off of the road.
It all sounds just fine to us, but Amazon hasn't said a thing about such a move. Still, we wouldn't be surprised to see the company come down this road in the near future just the same.
Ford adding stop-start to all major model lines
Sun, 24 Nov 2013Ford has gone all-in on its efforts to offer most of its new vehicles with a fuel-efficient EcoBoost engine, but the automaker is reportedly preparing to take another big step toward improving vehicle efficiency. Automotive News is reporting that Ford will soon expand the availability of start-stop technology, which was first offered - presumably the first non-hybrid vehicle, that is - on the 2013 Fusion (equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine) as a $295 option.
The benefit of start-stop is reduced fuel consumption as it shuts the engine off at long stops, and AN quotes Ford as saying that drivers can save more than $1,000 on fuel costs over five years. Despite this, the option hasn't been popular on the Fusion thus far, but it could be more beneficial on bigger vehicles like the F-150. Ford also said that the next-gen Edge, which was previewed in concept form at the LA Auto Show, will be equipped with auto start-stop to help make the EcoBoost engines even more efficient.
