Model T Ford 1925 Original Black And Gold With Br/bk/tan Int. Great Running. on 2040-cars
Kosciusko, Mississippi, United States
This Model T is ready to drive today! As far as I can tell it is original and has the original wooden floorboard and body post wood. The Black and Gold paint looks good but is not perfect...good enough for a Sunday or Parade driver but not show quality. The seat fabric is good with no stains or rips and the wooden floorboards are covered with Black carpet. It comes with all the options that were available in 1925....electric starter, two speed rear end and Rocky Mountain brakes. The engine is original 4 cylinder 20.5 HP and the transmission is original petal clutch design. High, Low, Reverse and transmission brake are all in good condition. I drive the car 50 miles or more on Sunday afternoons and have never had a problem. It will cruise at about 40 MPH. All the windows are good with none cracked or chipped and all roll up and down well. The top half of the front window tilts out and locks for "Air Conditioning". All tires including the spare are in good condition. The original wood and brass steering wheel and the wooden spoke wheels on this car are worth what I have set for the reserve!!! If you are looking for a unique and original car that you can drive in the next parade then don't hesitate to bid. I have listed the car before and it did not reach my reserve, so I have lowered the reserve substantially. If you are looking for a T that is in excellent shape then don't miss it this time...if it doesn't sell this time I will take it to the local auction.

2015 Ford Mustang to offer solid-rear axle, sort of
Tue, 17 Dec 2013One of the biggest knocks against the last Ford Mustang was its solid-rear axle. Not one to actively court criticism, Ford dutifully swapped out the old-fashioned rear end for something a bit more modern in the redesigned 2015 Mustang, adding an independent rear suspension across the board.
While an IRS Mustang is great news for those that value handling and ride comfort, there's one big group that it's bad news for - drag racers. See, a solid-rear axle is a big deal for drag racers, because not only is it more durable and cheaper, but it's better for the hard launches that can make or break a race.
To satiate this vocal demographic, Ford will sell a body-in-white version of the Stang, complete with a nine-inch rear axle, that will debut at the 2014 Performance Racing Industry show. The news came from gas2.org, which cited an unnamed employee of Ford Racing at this year's PRI show.
Ford GT to be revived, Le Mans battle upcoming
Sun, 05 Oct 2014Ford dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1966 to 1969, scoring four consecutive wins. Wouldn't it be great if the Blue Oval could go back to France for the 50th anniversary of that performance and show it can still compete in international endurance racing? Actually, the latest rumors indicate that could be exactly the case, and the car taking that checkered flag could be another revival of the Ford GT.
As the rumblings go, Ford wants to use a new supercar to take another crack at Le Mans, after considering some other possible alternatives. Substantiating these musings are reports that a Blue Oval rep was reportedly on hand for a recent meeting about 2016 GTE-Class rules, according to Road and Track. That would put the new GT in the same racing class as the Corvette, Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche 911 and others.
It's not all about racing, though. If you win on Sunday, you want something to be able to sell on Monday. The revived GT is reportedly still a mid-engine supercar, but the exact engine is unclear. It's possible that it could even be shown or announced at the Detroit auto show in January, according to Motor Trend.
Saleen previews new 302 Mustang
Thu, 03 Jul 2014The introduction of a new generation of a model like the Ford Mustang may be exciting enough in its own right for enthusiasts, but that's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg, because you know that Ford itself as well as numerous aftermarket tuners will soon follow up with even more desirable versions. And few Mustang tuners carry quite the same clout of Saleen.
Recently reunited after its previous split, Saleen is back on the map and hard at work on new aftermarket modifications for a wide array of muscle cars. We knew it would only be a matter of time before it would release a new 302 Mustang, and now it's sent out the first image to show us what to expect.
Details are scarce, but House that Steve Built says the 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang "is perfectly positioned as the next American exotic." And it should know, considering that it's the same outfit that produced the Saleen S7 that really was a true American exotic. From the teaser image above we can see that Saleen has given its Mustang a new front air dam, a very wide air scoop on the hood and of course Saleen's trademark slat grille.
