Oak Harbor, Washington, United States

This Listing is for a 1981 Ford Ranger F250 4x4, This has a 460ci v8 Engine.  The truck has an automatic Transmission.  The Truck Has 38.5" Super Swampers on it as well as an 8" Lift.  This Truck Was used primarily for farm work and 4x4. Im not sure if the Mileage on the Car is accurate.  The body has dents and dings,  Some Small spots of rust.  The Inside of the Truck Bed is in Great Condition, The Cab Has a Rusty Drivers Floor Board (i ordered a replacement already, it will come with the Truck)  The Truck Starts up and Runs and Drives.  The Rear Driveshaft of the Truck Ripped out on the way home from a friends house and is currently in the Back of the Truck (i just put it in 4x4 and used the front tires to drive home about 1 mile).  The truck is in rough Condition and will need a few small things in order to be in perfect working order.  The Motor is Strong and so is the Transmission.  4x4 Works.  I'm asking 1000$ Cash for this Truck.  I have a Clean Washington Title and the Tags are Good Until FEB 2014.  You can drive the Truck as is, but i would recommend Using a Trailer to take it home.  The Tires and Engine are worth 1000$ alone.  Please Message me for any Questions (843) 455 0898.  The truck is located in Oak Harbor, Washington.  You are more than welcome to come take a look.  This auction is for Local Pick Up Only!  I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN TRADES FOR THIS ITEM,  QUAD, DIRT BIKE, Who Knows??? LOCAL ONLY! UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE CARE OF THE SHIPPING!

Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.
Check out both the Mustang 1 Concept and first production 1964.5 Mustang above and below.

2016 Ford Explorer revealed with new 2.3-liter EcoBoost

Wed, 19 Nov 2014

A 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder takes over where the old 2.0 left off, making 270 hp and 300 lb-ft.
Right now, around 23 percent of all Ford vehicles sold in the United States is a utility vehicle. By 2020, Ford expects that figure to increase all the way to 29 percent. Put simply, SUVs and crossovers are very big business at Ford. So, when it comes time to update the Explorer, Ford's original sport utility vehicle, you can be sure that a whole heck of a lot of effort goes into the process.

Ford Australia reveals updated Territory, Falcon via Twitter

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

Ford may have tied together much of its global lineup under the One Ford campaign, but one market where it still offers unique products is Australia. That will soon draw to a close as well, but before it does, the Blue Oval's Aussie operations are rolling out refreshed versions of its two unique products. For the moment, Ford isn't revealing much in the way of powertrain details, but it has shown off a couple of snaps of the revised products on its in-market Twitter feed.
First up is the new Territory. The SUV is neither based on a front-drive crossover platform nor on a truck frame, but shares its rear-drive underpinnings with the Falcon, taking it a step beyond the Falcon wagon alongside which it sits in Ford's Aussie range. Like the outgoing third-generation SZ Territory, the facelifted version is dominated by a narrow grille and larger front air dam, but further punctuates its big-chinned look with more rugged lower cladding and other metallic inserts that bring its look up to date.
And there's the Falcon, which Ford revealed in XR8 trim just last week and is now presenting in G6E spec. If the XR8 is the performance model, the G6E is the luxury version, swapping in more refined trim like a chrome-slat grille (instead of a black honeycomb), chrome foglamp surrounds, less-aggressive multi-spoke wheels (instead of five-spokes) and a flatter hood (instead of a power bulge). Otherwise, it looks essentially the same as the one we saw last week, its facelift bringing it more in line with the smaller, front-drive Mondeo (which we know here as the Fusion) and other members of the Ford family.
