Excellent Rust Free Georgia Long Bed P/s, P/b, 360 Truck on 2040-cars

This truck is from Georgia. I've owned it for 2 years and made the following improvements:
Re-upholstered bench seat with Factory material Painted underside of hood Sand blasted hinges and latches Painted hinges and latches original steel color Installed new Factory correct steering wheel and horn ring Installed new gauge cluster Installed 10 X 15 steel wheels with Ford center caps painted to match the truck This truck runs perfectly. The motor has been rebuilt by the previous owner. I have never driven it in the rain or snow. It is garaged and very well cared for. The orange and white two tone paint is very unique. It's called Cordoba. The inside of bed still has all of it's factory original paint. You can still see the factory paint on the under side of the cab, bed and frame. The underside has no pitting or flaking. It could be pressure washed and painted. Original paint in door jams and interior. The engine compartment is detailed with factory paint markings because you could still see the original markings when it was redone. Feel free to ask any questions. More pictures to follow. Watch Piquet and Mansell bend some sheetmetal in Ford Fusion GP
Tue, 12 Feb 2013As we told you about before, there were four episodes planned for the Ford Fusion GP campaign in Brazil, and the whole series has now run its course. The Ford ads pit Brazilian Formula One driver Nelson Piquet against English F1 pilot Nigel Mansell driving the new Fusion, the two coming together again after their partnership at the Williams F1 team ended in a miserable state more than 20 years ago.
They're lined up for you below, in reverse chronological order. You should watch number three first, though, as it adds a bit more spice to the NASCAR action in the fourth.
2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang debuts at Lagun Seca
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Saleen used the occasion of the race-fueled Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca to announce its new Heritage Collection Lineup. The event was punctuated with the debut of the collection's first member, the 2014 Saleen George Follmer Edition Mustang.
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s. The driver competed in Formula One with the Shadow team in 1973, ran the Indianapolis 500, was the Can-Am champion in 1972 and drove stock cars in NASCAR's Winston Cup as well. The multi-disciplined driver is now one of three -the other two being Mark Donohue and Swede Savage - with the honor of upcoming, limited edition Saleen-tuned vehicles..
Follmer's name will likely sound familiar to fans of American racing in the 1960s and '70s.
Ford recalls 83k Taurus and crossover models for halfshaft issue
Fri, 15 Aug 2014Ford and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have issued a recall for some 83,250 vehicles in the US, for an issue with halfshafts. More specifically a "halfshaft retention circlip" might not have been properly installed on affected vehicles, with the result being halfshafts that may move improperly or disengage completely from the linkshaft while driving. The NHTSA release also notes that the issue may occur "without prior warning" which obviously factors in to the timeliness of getting this checked.
Should the halfshaft disengage, a few troubling things could happen. If it occurs while driving, power from the engine will no longer be transmitted to the wheels. And, if the vehicle is parked without the parking brake applied after disengagement of the circlip, vehicles may roll away even if they're transmissions have been placed in "Park."
Affected vehicles are as follows: Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX crossovers from model years 2012 to 2014; Ford Taurus and Lincoln MKS sedans from model years 2013 to 2014; Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT vehicles from model years 2013 to 2014.
