Power windows and power locks. This is a spare vehicle that I no longer need. I have done alot of work to it: New EGR valve & Tube, TP sensor, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Plugs, Wires, Airfilter, New Left side exhaust manifold gasket. The engine runs like a champ, good transmission, and 4wd is in working order. Just put a new radiator in it. Also, just installed: new Mile Marker hubs with auto to manual lock conversion (done after pictures were taken); new rear brake pads and hardware and brake lines; new radius arm bushing; new exhaust donuts; new e-brake cable and hardware. There is some rust on the sides of the truck at rocker areas, due to Ford's great idea of putting the fiberglass running boards on the vehicle, but does not affect inspection. The truck was recently inspected until 5/14. It's very dependable, and a reliable 4x4, was regularly serviced and maintained as you can tell. I've tried to list all the good and bad, so you know what the truck is. Price is $1800 obo. Serious inquiries only . Buyer must pick up vehicle, I will not ship it.

First 1K next-gen Mustangs to carry 2014 1/2 model year?

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

A new report from Mustangs Daily, citing insider sources at Ford, tells us that the Blue Oval will produce 1,000 next-generation Mustangs with the model year designation of 2014 ½, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the storied marque. The commemorative half-year designation is a rumor that's been swirling in Mustang forums for quite some time now, and seems more plausible than ever with this most recent report. Certainly it's not far-fetched to believe that Ford will want to make a big deal of the golden anniversary for its most-loved model.
The story (compiled by Drew Phillips, who runs the aforementioned Mustang site when he's not directing the photography on these pages) goes on to say that the limited-run cars will be the first built on the new Mustang platform internally known as S550 (and spied testing in the attached gallery). Each car is said to carry a "special" VIN and build number, though no performance upgrades versus the 2015 cars to follow are in the works. A collector's dream then, rather than a weekend racer's.

Stock Miata beats bunch of high-powered cars in wet 1/4-mile drag race

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

When is a stock, 167-horsepower Mazda MX-5 Miata quicker than a Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang, Lamborghini Gallardo, Lotus Elise and a Porsche 911? When it's raining. Sort of.
Mazda Canada arranged a unique drag race to show off the fact that the Miata's optional power retractable folding hardtop can go from top-down to top-up in just 12 seconds flat. In this video, all six cars line up for a drag race, and it starts to rain (well, sort of - but you'll have to watch the video all the way to the end to see what we mean). The green flag is waved, and the timer starts as soon as the convertibles begin to put their tops up. But because the Miata's roof mechanism gets the car's roof back up a full 5.1 seconds quicker than the second-place car, the Mazda gets a serious advantage off the line for the actual drag race.
It's a fun video. And while we've spoiled the results (come on, the video was uploaded by Mazda, you knew the Miata was going to win), be sure to see how it all unfolds, below.

Ford Fiesta ST orders off to strong start

Fri, 17 May 2013

We at Autoblog love the new little Ford Fiesta ST, and apparently, folks in Europe are pretty impressed with it, as well. According to Ford, the automaker's European arm has already logged 3,000 orders for the new hot hatch since it hit dealerships this March. The US-spec car, which will only be available as a five-door, will go on sale in the United States this summer.
What's perhaps most interesting about the Fiesta ST ordering is that the majority of customers appear to be ordering high-spec cars. According to Ford data, 60 percent of customers have opted for the leather interior with Recaro buckets, and 90 percent have selected the upgraded 17-inch wheels (seen on our test car, above). Spirit Blue has been the most popular color, commanding 27 percent of all orders. As for the technology upgrades, 19 percent of customers have ponied up for the Sony stereo with navigation.
To recap, the Fiesta ST is offered with Ford's 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, putting out 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque, mated exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission. We had an absolute blast flinging the hot Fiesta through the French Alps, and we can't wait for this sharp little hatch to make its way over to the States.
